The Role

We are seeking a Manager to support the delivery of our risk and regulatory services to investment managers active in the private markets space, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure and private credit. Responsibilities include:

• Advising private markets clients on their regulatory obligations, the impact of regulatory change and current industry practice.
• Managing and delivering client projects related to risk and regulation for our private markets clients
• Supporting the development of new risk and regulatory services for our private markets clients
• Supporting business development activities in connection with our private markets clients
• Developing thought leadership in connection with private markets, including publications, blog posts and client roundtables and other events
• Keeping abreast of all latest market trends and new regulations that will impact our private markets clients and supporting the development of repeatable consulting propositions connected to these market developments

The Person

The required skills, knowledge and experience include: 

• Knowledge and awareness of private asset classes and alternative investment managers
• Knowledge and awareness of the key regulatory regimes applicable to alternative investment managers, including AIFMD
• An awareness of the different types of investment products and services offered by private markets participants
• Understanding of the UK/EU regulatory environment
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• The ability to evaluate technical issues, analyse facts, consult and deliver solutions to clients
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including an ability to communicate well with clients (internal and external) in writing and verbally and an ability to influence and communicate with senior individuals
• Understanding of regulatory developments and key current issues facing clients
• Experience in working with teams and the ability to work independently
• Understanding and awareness of broader wealth and asset management sector is an advantage, including business structures, governance frameworks, and process and control infrastructure

As an SAP Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SAP projects, ensuring successful safe execution, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will lead multi-disciplined teams to drive delivery excellence, leveraging Agile, Waterfall & Hybrid methodologies. As our HR technology practice continues to grow we are seeking talented individuals with experience of SuccessFactors implementations. This is a high-profile role within the team, requiring a balance of business development / sales origination and client delivery, including deep solution/configuration experience across Employee Central.

Summary of Role

The SAP CDL is accountable for the quality of delivery of all SAP engagements, both functional and technical, through a matrixed team of Engagement Leaders and Engagement Managers. The CDL enables the growth of our SAP business by validating dealboard submissions, driving resourcing (on, near and offshore), embedding scalable and repeatable methods, incorporating lessons learned to improve delivery, and providing delivery assurance to SAP engagements.

• Provide constructive challenge through the Deal Board and Solution Review processes with strong focus on delivery risk, client obligations, fixed price contingency level and risks that could erode EP and impact delivery success
• Identify and initiate new opportunities from existing SAP engagements
• EQCR for complex SAP deliveries – opportunity through to engagement

Capability Build  

Resourcing

• Grow team of SAP Engagement Leaders and Engagement Managers to ensure strength in delivery management
• Approve EL and EM accreditation requests for SAP service lines
• Maintain tight visibility of pipeline to ensure to resourcing budgets and targets are aligned and agreed for each year
• Manage timely resource planning and recruitment of functional and technical resources for all SAP engagements across all locations – on, near and offshore along with global reach to other KPMG locations and third parties
