Our Financial Services practice is diverse and comprises Asset Management (which includes Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Funds), Banking and Insurance and is a dynamic and successful area of our business.

That is why we work as one advisory and compliance team with specialists who focus on compliance working as a group within that team, known as the FS Compliance Hub.

We are looking for talented Managers with UK corporate tax experience to join us at this exciting time and help implement, shape, and develop the Hub as we expand and invest significantly in Financial Services tax.

 

What will you be doing?

In addition to delivering corporate tax compliance services there are opportunities to be involved in tax advisory work, the development of our innovative technology solutions and also to participate in client demonstrations and other aspects of business development, to keep your role varied and tailored to your interests where possible.

With our technology enabled solutions our compliance specialists can focus on technical excellence, opportunity spotting and managing the compliance relationship with clients.

We are offering both full time and part time roles with flexible working arrangements which include, early or late starts to fit around other commitments, shorter working days etc. We would be happy to discuss your own requirements and our range of flexible working arrangements in more detail, should that be of interest.
The core aspects of the role are:

  • Maintain a portfolio of clients and take responsibility for ensuring the tax computations are prepared to a high standard, on a timely basis and finalised and submitted to HMRC within agreed deadlines.

Overview

This exciting role is within our South Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our South Central or Southwest offices.

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.
