Summary of role purpose:

Audit Technology is delivering a significant transformation agenda to modernise how data is created, governed, used and shared across the UK Audit business. As data becomes a foundational asset enabling Generative AI, digital audit delivery, and a more connected and efficient operating model we are expanding our leadership capability to ensure data is managed consistently, responsibly and strategically across all Audit portfolios.   The Head of Audit Data Governance will sit horizontally across our Solutions and Run & Maintain organisations, working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Transformation, Operations, and the Audit Practice. You will lead a multi‑pillar data function spanning Data Governance, Data Quality, Data as Insight, and Data as a Service, ensuring that data drives value, supports Audit Quality, and enables scalable and trustworthy digital products.   This is an exciting opportunity to shape the data landscape of Audit Technology and embed a unified data operating model across a complex and high‑growth portfolio.

 

The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a growing and dynamic team. We deal with all aspects of the technology function, from strategy, cloud, digital, technology spend, etc. We work with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues.

Role summary

This role is an important part of IOGC. It involves the provision of legal advice to the leadership of KPMG International (such as the Global Board and Global Management Team) and their teams on a wide variety of key strategic issues, as well as supporting the execution of key business decisions made by KPMG International and the global network of member firms in dealing with legal, regulatory and reputational issues and risks for the organization.

Summary of role purpose
Investigations and Compliance (I&C) is part of KPMG’s Forensic practice.  We help clients with their biggest and most challenging misconduct and integrity matters.  Our work helps clients respond to regulatory enquiries, reduce reputational risk and prevent or reduce commercial loss by helping them to investigate and mitigate risks including fraud and misconduct, bribery and corruption, financial crime and much more.
As a result of an exciting and increasing pipeline of fraud analytics work, we are looking for a Manager to help coordinate the strategic direction of a team deploying analytics (including fraud analytics routines and GenAI capabilities) over large complex financial and other datasets, both structured and unstructured.

Description of the role
The role will involve leading a team deploying forensic analytics (including testing routines across structured data and LLM-enabled unstructured, structured and open-source data analysis) over large datasets to help our clients solve their most complex fraud, misconduct and integrity matters.

This role requires a deep understanding of both structured and unstructured data analytics techniques, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative analytical solutions leveraging a wide range of techniques, including through the use of SQL, Python, cloud computing and Generative AI (GenAI).

You should expect to work on a variety of project-based work over a cross section of forensic work types, industries and geographies. Day to day activities will vary depending on the type and circumstances of each project.
