KPMG’s Insurance Enterprise Architecture practice is a leading independent advisor for Technology Architecture professional services. We are growing our Insurance Architecture team to respond to the increasing demand and in particular seeking technologists with architecture backgrounds and experience in Enterprise Architecture within the Insurance sector. Within the Insurance Architecture team, we work across all areas of the sector, from General Insurance, to Health Insurance, Life and all of London Markets, including Carriers, Brokers, Underwriting, MGA’s, as well as all aspects of the value chain. We look to simplify streamline end-to end architecture, reduce legacy, ensure appropriate governance is in place, as well as advise on new and innovative technology to enable our clients to grow their business and differentiate themselves in the market.

This role supports the development and drafting of global guidance and communications for sustainability reporting, financial reporting and corporate reporting more broadly, as well as relevant audit and assurance considerations relating to forthcoming and existing IFRS Accounting Standards, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for an Assistant Manager role, with experience in Industrial Markets and Defence (IM&D) across one or more of our core propositions: Enterprise-wide Transformation, Growth Strategy, Cost and Operational Strategy, and Commercial and Operational Due Diligence.

Responsibilities

To be an effective Assistant Manager within our Strategy & Performance Transformation applicants will be expected to:

• Liaise effectively with clients while working on engagements and act as an 'ambassador' for KPMG
• Design and run small projects and / or large, complex workstreams with limited oversight
• Product client-ready deliverables that exceed expectations and require limited review
• Develop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients
• Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management activities
• Construct detailed financial / business models performing complex scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Ensure the firm's risk management frameworks are adhered to
• Be a strong effective team player
• Provide timely feedback and coaching to other team members
• Support practice development activities to ensure successful delivery of initiatives

Skills and Experience

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:

• Experience working in a leading strategy house, Big 4 firm, public sector organisation or strategy / development team in industry
• Strong foundational understanding of the value drivers within IM&D
• Experience of leading project workstreams and take responsibility for small teams
• Prior involvement in business development activity and ability to contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management initiatives
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members and broader (internal and external) stakeholders
