The Team

We are currently recruiting managers to join our successful Family Office & Private Client Compliance team in our Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow,

As a national practice our FO&PC team consists of 162 team members across the UK, led by 4 Partners, 7 Associate Partners and 19 Directors.

We work with a variety of high net worth individuals – from stakeholders in privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses, executives of multi-national firms, landed estates and members of private equity firms, who may be tax resident and/or domiciled in a range of jurisdictions. We also specialise in providing advice to Trusts and Estates, and Partnerships.

If you are a highly motivated qualified tax adviser/ accountant (ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA) with experience of working in personal tax, then we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

The personal tax environment moves rapidly and our practice sits within a highly regulated environment. Candidates should be capable of managing a diverse range of tasks and demonstrate an aptitude for project management whilst maintaining impeccable standards of client service.

The role entails managing a portfolio of, and holding the relationship with, compliance clients whilst identifying and actively seeking value-added advisory opportunities. You will lead the provision of day to day advisory matters on your clients, introducing and working alongside advisory colleagues where appropriate.

You will ensure the delivery of a high quality compliance service to our clients, including the review of complex and varied tax returns, capital gains calculations, land and property accounts and complex residence and remittance issues. You will also manage the risk and regulatory considerations on your portfolio, budgeting, work in progress and ensure prompt billing and cash collection.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

The role will suit either a high performing Manager keen to work with an exciting client base and keen to progress, or a recently qualified individual looking to gain exposure to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team.

Candidates interested in this role should have the following skills and qualifications:

A desire to work in a challenging but rewarding environment;
Comfortable with building internal and client relationships in a hybrid working environment;
Strong communication skills and a willingness to contribute ideas and actively participate in supporting business growth and practice development;
Qualified accountant or tax advisor with experience working in a personal tax focussed environment with exposure to a varied client base and strong commercial acumen.
Academically strong results in career to date coupled with a keen and insightful understanding of the issues facing private clients and partnerships.
An understanding of the KPMG Values and their importance in our work together.
Professional curiosity, enthusiasm for private client work and an aptitude for technical analysis perhaps with a desire to specialise in an area of interest alongside a strong general technical competence.

The Learning Content team is responsible for designing and developing a diverse range of engaging and inclusive learning solutions for a broad client base across various sectors. Our expertise spans on-demand context-setting animations, inclusive digital learning, thought-provoking podcasts, facilitated in-person and virtual classrooms, and action-oriented peer working sessions. We are renowned for our proficiency in learning and are seeking a skilled Learning Visual Designer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth.

What will you be doing?

Attend project kick-off meetings and work with the Learning Content Lead, Instructional Designers (IDs) and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop branding, look & feel documentation and apply these standards to develop initial templates.
Work with Learning Content Lead /Project managers to estimate completion time.
Interpret storyboards and scripts to create visually engaging content, using experience to recommend appropriate solution format and design approach.
Work closely with Instructional Designers to support the development of storyboards and scripts, providing technical suggestions to further enhance the learning solutions and ensure deliverables can meet quality, cost and timeframes as agreed with Project Management team and client.
Source and produce Graphics and video/animations.
Communicate ideas to stakeholders and suggest ways to innovate existing processes and solutions.
Demonstrate commercial awareness when planning build, focussing on quality as well as commerciality.

What will you need to do it?

Experience in delivering innovative, compelling visual designs across a range of formats including digital, video, and print.
Highly proficient in graphic design software, preferably using the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop / Illustrator / After Effects / Premiere.
Experience working in a client-focused environment, with excellent collaboration skills and a flexible approach.
Ability to manage own workload across a range of projects, prioritising key tasks and managing intern
