Our Corporate Tax Compliance business is made up of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Corporate Tax Compliance specialists working with our cutting-edge technology platform and our advisory teams to provide a first-class service to our diverse client base which includes global and large domestic compliance clients with complex and interesting tax profiles. We are now looking for a talented individual at Senior Manager level. The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge and thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment to ensure excellent client service, and will be supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

In our Audit and Assurance business this includes Reporting Accountant roles, Special Purpose Audits, and many other bespoke Assurance projects. To support this growth we have a fantastic opportunity for Directors to join our Transactions Assurance team and work with companies on the audit and assurance requirements of both UK and US initial public offerings, and with a wide variety of project-based assurance and accounting topics, including carve out transactions, acquisitions and opening balance sheet audits and complex private equity transactions.

As a Director, you will act as a role model for your teams, facilitating the effective and efficient delivery of these assurance engagements. You will be responsible for leading teams and supervising the work of staff and providing coaching and developmental support.  You will also be working alongside our Capital Markets and Due Diligence teams where relevant and have opportunities to lead conversations with diverse range of stakeholders involved in projects such as (sponsors, lawyers, accounting advisors). 

There will also be great opportunity to work on business development skills, for example, leading initial management conversations and qualifying opportunities.

Our Transaction Services team collaborate with organisations of all shapes and sizes across a broad range of Mergers and Acquisitions activity. We are an integrated team of specialists helping clients focus on the key questions during the critical stages of planning and executing a deal, creating and enhancing value.

KPMG’s Infrastructure Group in the UK consists of over 400 professionals and is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading independent financial and business advisers in infrastructure.
We provide in-depth advice on the strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Transport, Power & Utilities, and Social Infrastructure in the UK and internationally. Power & Utilities (P&U), led by Dr Matt Firla-Cuchra, counts c85 FTEs is the largest business area of the IAG and encompasses work for major clients in the sector, including all UK utilities as well as some of the largest energy and water companies in Europe and beyond. We provide in-depth strategic and technical advice on strategy and business planning and analysis, corporate finance and corporate financial management, regulatory policy, cost assessment and benchmarking as well as in other areas to help our clients create value for both shareholders and customers. Our work combines elements of policy, finance, strategy and economics to assist our clients in structuring investments, securing financing, supporting regulatory regimes for the benefit of customers as well as maximising shareholder value.
