GISG (Global Information Security Group) is one of five domains within KPMG’s Global Technology & Knowledge group. GISG provides the information protection and technology infrastructure that secures KPMG’s technology environment and connects its network of member firms. GISG works with the other GT&K domains to ensure that appropriate security controls are in place for KPMG technology solutions.

As part of the Global Information Security Group (GISG), the Information Security Services (ISS) team which includes the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) helps defend KPMG and its clients from cyber attacks, through timely detection, investigation and remediation of potential threats.

 

Role summary

The Technical Adoption manager is responsible for managing relevant internal and external stakeholders to enable the continuous cycle of onboarding new technologies, services and service enhancements provided by the GSOC. The role holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide management of the technical adoption team
  • Supervising BAU technical adoption activities
  • Working with Security Product management to identify new products or product enhancements that will require adoption into live GSOC services.
  • Working with Innovation Lead and to identify projects, both internal and for other areas, that will require adoption.
  • Work GSOC Operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding of end to end service capabilities.
  • Track and report to GSOC and GISG Management on all technical adoption activities
  • Produce and maintain process and procedur

Our business is expanding rapidly and we are looking for a high-quality candidate to support our Power & Utilities business, with a particular focus on the water sector.

The Role
 

  • You would be joining the leading provider of strategic economic consultancy services in the water sector.
  • While you will have specific responsibilities for contributing towards the team’s water business, there will also be opportunities to work in other sectors, primarily energy networks.
  • Working closely with sector and subject matter experts you will develop to become the ‘go to’ person for water sector economic advice. This will involve developing an in-depth understanding of Ofwat’s regulatory framework.
  • You will build relationships with key clients across the sector, as well as with other advisors (e.g., legal and engineering. The projects that you will advise on will be high profile and caried. For example, in recent years we have advised on the regulatory framework for the Thames Tideway Tunnel, every aspect of water companies' business plans, bulk supply trading negotiations, Competition and Markets Authority re-determinations, major transactions, organisational transformations, and much more. If there is a large strategic project taking place in the sector, the chances are we will be advising on it. 
  • There is no ‘typical project’. You will need to apply a structured strategic approach to problem solving, drawing on established economic principles, while having the capacity to think creatively.  
  • The work will include a combination of report drafting, economic analysis, and engaging with clients. 
  • You will need to be comfortable managing, coaching, and mentoring junior staff across a number of projects. 
  • You will contribute towards building the team, identifying opportunities in the market, and providing thought leadership.

Role summary

The Director – Global Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) Lead, holds a pivotal strategic role within KPMG’s Global Information Security Services (ISS) function.   This role will set the strategic direction for CSIRT, within Global, embedding AI into the core capabilities and leveraging its findings to drive enterprise-wide transformations across firms.  This role must navigate complex regulatory requirements, managing high risk and high pressure decisions, supporting but not limited to providing recommendations to implement isolation of member firm from the network, inline with the crisis protocols

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and play a key part in building and shaping the future of the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) across the global organisation. Reporting directly to the Global Head of ISS, the Director will stand up the new global CSIRT capability, by developing and leading the continuous improvement of the processes and technologies that support core CSIRT services.  The role will be accountable for budget allocations, resource planning across multiple regions, leveraging 3rd party resources where required to support demand.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to design, implement, and oversee CSIRT operations. They will ensure KPMG maintains the capability to respond to and recover from cybersecurity threats on a 24/7 basis across its global network, managing cross-border leaderships, informing Global leadership, IOGC, GCISO, GSIO and equivalents within member firms of key finds to support actions carried out that could lead to disciplinary consequences.

This role also involves staffing and leading a high-performing team dedicated to managing both cybersecurity and information handling incidents within KPMG, mentoring other leaders across the firms and driving talent strategy

This role will be required to act as cyber commander (part of a roster) during a critical or major incident and supporting cyber commanders when off roster.

Role summary

The Office of the General Counsel (“OGC”) is a key part of KDN and is responsible for managing the organisation’s global legal risk. The OGC is seeking a highly experienced Paralegal who will work directly with OGC team members (including the General Counsel) to provide valuable organisational, technical and administrative support on a mix of corporate and commercial matters. This will include liaising with non-OGC stakeholders, both within KDN and across the wider KPMG organisation, including members of senior management. The successful candidate will support with a wide range of matters, including:

 

  • Analysing new requests for support / queries received into the OGC team and taking / following detailed instructions.
  • Reviewing processes and making suggestions to streamline them to improve efficiencies where appropriate.
  • Assisting with matter-specific Board resolutions – including coordinating any local counsel review and assisting with execution
  • Periodic (e.g., quarterly) reach out to local counsel to check if any new (including proposed) legislative updates
  • Assisting with Board meeting preparations, including scheduling of meetings, collation and circulation of pre-read materials, plus coordination of Board Minutes
  • Supporting team members in managing all phases of corporate and commercial matters, including ad-hoc projects as needed, administrative tasks and workflow management
  • Collating, organising and updating transaction and project documents, including version control and scheduling periodic reviews of these as necessary
  • Supporting with the preparation and maintenance of transaction documents, ensuring accurate record-keeping for completed matters
