• You will be in a client facing role, engaging with C-suite and senior executives to set the vision and then in the delivery and operationalisation of data architecture and technology platforms.
• Translate complex data concepts into compelling, actionable advice for stakeholders.
• A visible practice leader, shaping thought leadership, owning and refining propositions for relevance, and driving go-to-market activities.
• Lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms and architectures, including data Lakehouse, data engineering and advanced analytics ecosystems enabling scale implementation and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (ML, GenAI and Agentic).
• Develop and own end-to-end solution implementations using technologies such as Collibra, Informatica, Databricks, Quantexa, and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring scalability and impact. 
• Build, mentor, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation across onshore, nearshore and offshore locations.
• Champion delivery: unblock obstacles, step into the details, and deliver quiet confidence that you’ll get things done.

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a manager to be based in CSQ although we work as a wider London region team made up of 3 other offices.  You will play a key role in expanding our tax governance offering, supporting existing clients, winning new work and developing new client relationships.

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities. Overview

This exciting role is within our Tax Governance & Risk Management Team based in our CSQ office.

We are looking for a talented individual at Manager level to support our continued rapid growth around tax governance. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK listed, PE backed, multinationals, inbound and family-owned groups,

Role and Responsibilities: 

Working as a key member of the team to further develop and expand the firm's tax governance offering, including advising clients on:

• Identifying and managing tax risks across the globe.
• Building sustainable tax control frameworks to meet global tax authority requirements.
• Identifying the tax risks within tax transformation and technology projects.
• Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offence compliance.
• HMRC business risk review preparation.
• Developing and documenting their tax strategy and its publication.
• Meeting global tax transparency and ESG requirements.
• Liaising with HMRC on tax governance related matters

You will also be involved in:

• Leveraging tax technology to improve risk management and compliance processes.
• Liaising with specialists in the UK and overseas offices to oversee their input into projects.
• Coaching and developing more junior members of the team.
• Managing aspects of the team’s operations and performance, including resourcing.
