• Advise member firms on the implementation of KPMG information risk and security standards / requirements related to Incident Management .
• Recommend and support member firms to enforce defined security policies and global technology standard.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base following global incident trends, security advisories and alerts, information on global standard and best practices.
• Vulnerability management and controls validation: Evaluating and selecting vulnerability assessment and other security assessment capabilities, as well as deploying, operating and maintaining these technologies and adjacent processes

The Powered Connected Technology team is a community of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver SaaS ERP based transformation programmes based on KPMG Powered Enterprise. The team use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. Oracle, Workday, Coupa, SAP) to lead and deliver client programmes, to support pre-sales activities and to develop improvement and extensions to the Powered Enterprise model. The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a growing and dynamic team. We deal with all aspects of the technology function, from strategy, cloud, digital, technology spend, etc. We work with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues.

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.

The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 13 partners and approximately 186 professional staff located across the UK.  We work to support our portfolio of clients with a variety of Indirect tax issues.  Within the team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain, International Trade, alongside our Public Sector specialisms.  We work closely with our colleagues in Trade & Customs, Corporate and Employment tax to deliver value to KPMG’s clients.
