HR M&A was set up as part of the Integration & Separation (I&S) team in Deal Advisory, which has been growing year on year and seen by our clients as a market leader. We have worked on some of the largest and most high-profile client engagements in the deals space, including multi-billion spins, integration of global mega mergers, disposals of non-core assets for large multinationals. We have launched a market differentiating digital engagement platform for M&A as well as a campaign focused on ‘the Human Side of Deals’, and we continue to drive digital innovation.

The Team

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Asset Management Advisory (AMA) team, part of the KPMG Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG). Our team advises infrastructure owners in both the public and private sector, including government with their most complex challenges. IAG is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading independent financial and business advisers in infrastructure consisting of over 380 professionals.

Our team leads exciting projects across both public and private sectors principally focused on major capital and infrastructure portfolios in Transport, Energy, Water, Defence, Oil and Gas and Health. KPMG Law is seeking a corporate lawyer to join its expanding team in London to focus on legal solutions for a range of clients.

The Team
KPMG Law is a disrupter in the legal services industry offering legal advisory services combined with new law and technology driven offerings and multi-disciplinary solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in company law for example, M&A, equity investments and joint ventures and corporate reorganisations gained at a city practice and be: 

• an entrepreneurial self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to provide multi-disciplinary legal services in a different environment and manner while delivering a great service to clients

• able to understand the legal solution within the wider picture and who is keen to become a more rounded business adviser

• a driven and proactive team player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines  

• a good technical lawyer with a sound knowledge of the Companies Act

The role will involve:

• providing corporate legal advice on a broad range of client solutions spanning corporate reorganisations such as post-acquisition integration and legal entity rationalisation

It is expected that the successful applicant will be an English-qualified solicitor, gained in the UK at a reputable firm (but applicants with other suitable experience will also be considered). Strong academic, technical, and personal skills are essential.
