KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations. The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 13 partners and approximately 220 professional staff in the UK.

We are looking for an experienced KPMG colleague to join the OGC Commercial team to assist in contract review and negotiation. The role's primary function will be contract review and negotiation and a focus on support of our Audit client facing teams. Candidates should have a good understanding of KPMG’s risk appetite, as they will be handling requests for changes to engagement letters, General Terms of Business, and Additional Terms. Experience in negotiating contracts with clients or audited entities would be an asset.

 

The role involves a focus on contracts for Advisory, Tax, and Audit services. In particular, there will be an emphasis on contracting for Audit, which includes assisting with responses to tenders for new audit relationships. The candidate will need to provide positive responses without compromising on our risk appetite or regulatory obligations. Additionally, they will negotiate terms with clients for Advisory and Tax work, in consultation with Quality & Risk Management, focusing on Master Services Agreements.
