We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and proactive Platform Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing and leading a new engineering vertical within ATDT, shaping a modern engineering tower to support developers and cloud engineers. You will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of cloud platform solutions, enabling seamless integration of modern engineering techniques across the team.

In addition, you will lead a team of engineers, including specialists in both traditional infrastructure and Azure DevOps, ensuring the stability, availability, and security of the Azure platforms used by product developers.

Summary of Role

The SAP CDL is accountable for the quality of delivery of all SAP engagements, both functional and technical, through a matrixed team of Engagement Leaders and Engagement Managers. The CDL enables the growth of our SAP business by validating dealboard submissions, driving resourcing (on, near and offshore), embedding scalable and repeatable methods, incorporating lessons learned to improve delivery, and providing delivery assurance to SAP engagements.

• Provide constructive challenge through the Deal Board and Solution Review processes with strong focus on delivery risk, client obligations, fixed price contingency level and risks that could erode EP and impact delivery success

Resourcing

• Grow team of SAP Engagement Leaders and Engagement Managers to ensure strength in delivery management
• Approve EL and EM accreditation requests for SAP service lines
• Maintain tight visibility of pipeline to ensure to resourcing budgets and targets are aligned and agreed for each year
• Manage timely resource planning and recruitment of functional and technical resources for all SAP engagements across all locations – on, near and offshore along with global reach to other KPMG locations and third parties
• Ensure engagement team make up contains the right skills experience and diversity

 
Role Purpose
KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions is building a world class Microsoft Dynamics Practice:  The team is focusing on advisory and implementation services that relate to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM & ERP). This will include leading the implementation of these systems and engagements relating to Independent Programme Assurance where third parties are delivering such programmes. 

The Solution Architect role is required to lead the technical delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM centred solutions on large complex programmes or a portfolio, drive deep technical expertise within DevOps and functional leadership within the practice to deliver quality, client-centric solutions. Provides deep industry expertise to build and cultivate strong business relationships at a senior level. The role will champion innovation both within the firm and with clients, sharing Thought Leadership within the practice across the relevant Industry specialism. Takes a leading role in identifying development needs of team members and provides coaching, mentoring or stretch assignments to support individuals achieve their full potential as well as promoting collaboration across team.
