The Opportunity

• KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager (Senior Solicitor) - with experience in the real estate sector ideally working for private equity, sovereign wealth and/or real estate investment fund clients and owners with repeat activity. 
• KPMG Law wishes to grow and develop a legal real estate team to take full advantage of the synergies with, and opportunities created by, KPMG’s market leading tax and deal advisory practices.
• The Tax practice is worth £80/90 million per annum and KPMG is currently missing out on the opportunity to maximise clients in relation to corporate and transactional real estate work.
• The successful candidates will have experience within corporate or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
• The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).
• As this sector is known to lack diversity, KPMG is dedicated to considering diverse profiles for this role.

This role is pivotal in identifying and capitalising on opportunities to refine and elevate audit methodologies through this expertise.

While experience with analytics tools is not mandatory - a strong foundation in technology is required. This position is ideally suited for individuals with exceptional data literacy and advanced Excel capabilities. As a Senior Manager, you will spearhead data analytics on Audit engagements, navigating through the complexities of diverse operational, finance and ERP systems.

The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. Oracle, Workday, Coupa) to lead and deliver client programmes, to support pre-sales activities and to develop improvement and extensions to the Powered Enterprise model.
