The UK Company Secretarial and Global Entity Management (GEM) business sits within KPMG Law. Its ambition is to be a market-leading, technology-enabled governance and entity management business, supporting UK and multinational organisations with governance advisory services and globally co-ordinated entity management.

The business has a significant growth opportunity. Clients are seeking stronger subsidiary governance, better control of legal entity data, greater consistency across jurisdictions and alternatives to fragmented in-house and local-provider models. KPMG combines qualified governance expertise, a global network, a central GEM Hub and Digital Gateway to address these needs through advisory and managed services.

There are three pillars to the UK Company Secretarial and GEM practice:

• UK Entity Management – compliance and ad hoc support for UK entities, operated as a UK managed service.
• Global Entity Management – multi-jurisdictional compliance and ad hoc support for an international portfolio of entities.
• Governance Advisory Services – providing clients with corporate governance and board support services, including directors’ duties advice and training.

This Director (A Grade) role will take a role in supporting the overall build and growth of the UK Company Secretarial and GEM practice, with explicit accountability for revenue growth targets, market strategy and proposition ownership. Build senior client and internal relationships; lead complex pursuits and convert client needs into scalable, profitable solutions.

Associate Director - Deal Execution - Integration & Separation

KPMG’s Deal Execution practice is looking for exceptional candidates for an Associate Director role. The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Deal Advisory business, and are focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle. The Deal Execution Advisory Team

KPMG's Deal Execution Advisory Team is a growing and dynamic team. We work with both vendors and acquirers on mergers, acquisitions, divestments, exits and joint ventures, both pre and post-deal.

The team offers four key proposition areas:

Separation: Supporting vendors to plan and deliver a credible, discrete standalone entity to the Buyer with value preserved and business continuity in place from Day 1, including supporting the definition and implementation of transitional service agreements.

Integration: Pre and post deal integration design, planning and implementation to integrate the target business into the Buyer’s organisation whilst mitigating risk and enhancing value.

Synergies: Understanding the potential benefits and costs generated through a proposed transaction, and the associated plans, interdependencies, risks and issues for the delivery of base and stretch case targets.

Joint Ventures: Helping respective partners ensure the key value considerations are identified and prioritised early and delivered through the associated business plan, leveraging each party’s specific contribution and capabilities and managing broader stakeholder relationships.

This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Manchester office. As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects including BEPS Pillar 2, tax structuring and international expansion.

As Manager - People in M&A, you will help clients turn complex transactions into successful employee and organisational outcomes. You will lead the day-to-day delivery of engagements and major workstreams across due diligence, integration, separation and value delivery, working closely with senior clients and multidisciplinary KPMG teams. Your contribution will identify workforce risks and opportunities, shape practical people solutions and strengthen delivery quality, commercial performance and client confidence. This role offers broad exposure across the deal lifecycle, responsibility for coaching colleagues and the opportunity to grow the People in M&A practice through new propositions, pitches and market activity.
