What will you be doing?

  • You will be able to draw on your strong Financial Due Diligence experience to work with a variety of clients or sector specific clients
  • Using your analytical skills you will interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions for your clients
  • You will have overall responsibility for cost management, reporting, monitoring of recovery rates against budget and invoicing
  • You will be responsible for delivering large sections/full work streams from end-to-end and will add value to your clients by working together with other areas of the business to become a trusted adviser
  • Producing robust financial analysis and supporting your team by reviewing their work
  • You will be a key contact for the client and advisors on a day-to-day basis

KPMG’s FS Corporate Tax team has an immediate need for an Assistant Manager to support delivery of a range of engagements across corporate tax advisory, tax advisory, and tax audit assist. The KPMG FS Corporate Tax Team has a strong market reputation working with leading Global and UK bank and insurers on a range of tax services.   

 

The team will invest in the right candidate to enable quick upskilling on industry tax technical and commercial matters.  There is a strong pipeline of project and advisory work.

We are now looking for talented and experienced Assistant Manager to join our Defined Contribution pensions team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality pensions advice in relation to DC pension schemes with a focus on the private sector but also schemes in the public sector.

You will be responsible for will work closely with the senior members of the team in this service line, which will involve:

  • Scheme strategy and structure across workplace pensions
  • Member engagement and education
  • Investment policy
  • Governance, including setting up governance committees
  • Wider benefit and reward strategy
  • Financial coaching and well-being
  • Statutory auto-enrolment compliance and implementation

You will have responsibility for maintaining the day-to-day relationships with clients and ensuring delivery to agreed timescales.

You will have responsibility for supervising junior team members, providing coaching and developmental support to assist them in the delivery of engagements.
