Join KPMG's Corporate Finance practice to originate and deliver mid-market mergers and acquisitions transactions in the technology, media and telecommunications sector, helping clients achieve strategic buying and selling objectives. You will manage transactions from initial strategic review through to completion, acting as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients and coordinating high-quality deal execution. Working with Associate Directors, Directors and Partners, you will lead project teams, shape marketing and pitch materials, manage commercial delivery and contribute to business development. This opportunity offers an experienced corporate finance professional the scope to deepen sector expertise, build senior client relationships and contribute to the growth of an ambitious team with a strong record of completing successful deals. 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for working closely with colleagues in defined benefit pensions. Specific areas of focus, but not exhaustive, will include

• Journey planning and risk management, aiming for self-sufficiency or buy out, and endgame options including use of surplus

• Funding advice to sponsors and advice on compliance with DB funding code

• Advice on contingent funding options and work on special purpose vehicles

• Pensions due diligence on mergers and acquisitions

• Provision of member education and communication

• Advice on benefit change, benefit design and implementation

• Advice on good governance and compliance
