The Role

Deal Advisory Tax provides market leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors.  Whilst we have teams focused on clients in four key markets Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate and Energy & Infrastructure, we are a national and connected team, working and learning with each other.

• Corporates:  We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including Consumer, Life sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR and Banking & Insurance. 
• Asset Management:  We work with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewable/ Energy transition, and Real Estate Funds, both large and mid-cap, as well as institutional investors such as Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds.  Our clients have UK, European and Global investment strategies and will often have teams across multiple asset classes which a

As a member of the client service team, supervise and manage engagements and other related activities under the general direction of partners, directors, and/or senior managers, leading staff, consultants and assistant managers in providing outstanding client service.

What will you be doing?

• Managing team activities to ensure compliance with KPMG risk management policies and procedures and manage engagement administration.
• Supervising and coaching junior members of staff to help them realise their full potential
• Final review of materials and communications for senior members of the practice for KPMG/client representation to immigration authorities and government officials
• Monitor client service standards, swiftly addressing delivery failures (such as missed SLAs) and implement resolution plan to ensure these are prevented
• Be responsible for effective management of engagement financials, cash collection and review of significant invoices

What will you need to do it?

• Extensive demonstratable experience in Global Immigration
• Thorough understanding of immigration concepts and issues and pro-actively research current immigration developments
• Previous experience working at Manager level within Global Immigration
• Experience of managing small teams, coaching and mentoring junior staff
• Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy and strong IT skills including very good MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for working closely colleagues in the area of pension risk transfer.

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for effective collaboration within teams, supervising the work of junior staff, providing coaching and development to assist them in the effective delivery of engagements.

Join our dynamic and rapidly growing Tax Technology & Innovation team at KPMG, where you will help drive the adoption of cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence, across our tax practice and for our clients. As a Manager, you will be responsible for delivering innovative projects, managing teams, and supporting clients as they navigate technological change.

You will work closely with senior leaders and clients to design and implement solutions that address complex tax challenges, improve efficiency, and unlock new opportunities. You will also play a key role in promoting technology adoption within the team, supporting training initiatives, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service offerings.
