MS Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect 
The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect with extensive experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. With a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, strong understanding of primary process and procedures combined with practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused around Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst leading and mentoring more junior staff. 


This role is therefore key to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm. 


Responsibilities:

  • The Solution Architect will lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
  • Involvement in full end-to-end implementations and all phases of project life cycle
  • Involvement with D365FO interfaces and Integrations
  • Solves and advises on complex problems with creative solutions 
  • Be a champion for both technical and functional leading practice with the Finance Solution.
  • Have an exceptional understanding of Dynamics 365 technical and functional capabilities.

  • Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as our client engagements.

You will be a Senior Manager within our Tech Transformation Practice (aligned to WAM Consulting) and will be helping both grow our business and ensure our teams deliver high quality advice to clients. You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging client engagements across the WAM value chain for clients from across the ecosystem. As a Senior Manager you will be expected to lead on the delivery of key client work items such as leading programmes or being responsible for building KPMG IP. 

 

 

It is also expected that you will lead and manage more junior members of the KPMG team as part of project delivery. You will be an example to more junior members of staff who will look to you for advice, guidance and development support.   


As a Senior Manager it is likely that you will also be required to support Directors and Partners with business development activity such as helping with proposition development, proposals, RFP responses and pipeline management.

  • The delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services
  • Supervising the work of junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development.
  • Assisting our Managers and Senior Managers with client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial management
  • Support the leadership with business development opportunities.

What will you need to do it? 

  • Qualified CTA or ACA / CA or equivalent
  • UK corporation tax experience
