KPMG’s Pensions is an exciting initiative to re-establish the pensions team, and specifically to focus on public service pensions advisory and grow revenue at pace.

We are now looking for talented and experienced Assistant Manager to join our pensions actuarial team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality actuarial pensions advice in relation to defined benefit pension schemes in the private sector.

KPMG is looking to recruit an assistant manager in their in-house Tax team that delivers

KPMG’s corporate and partnership tax filings and advising on UK tax compliance matters.

The individual will be required to demonstrate UK tax compliance experience, the ability to

work to tight deadlines and handle large volumes of data as well as oversee the work of

other team members. The work is by nature high profile and the ability to treat matters with

the utmost confidentiality will be key. The work will involve working closely with other tax

professionals to deliver an efficient tax compliance service.

The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 105 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Advisory business, and are focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle. This role is for an innovative professional at manager level, who can work alongside our existing team to use their lived experience of planning, scheduling and project controls in construction to solve complex problems. Managers in our team are client-facing and right at the forefront of delivery. This role requires strong post-qualification experience ideally gained from several infrastructure-related projects and programmes, but we’ll happily consider candidates with experience in other relevant fields.

The MPA team in the UK are based in London, Birmingham and Manchester. This role will be based in one of these locations but will require travel to client locations throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

Overview

This exciting role is within our Midlands Indirect tax team, based in our Midlands offices. 

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.
