The role of the Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect is to develop the UK Firm’s integration & DevOps technology strategy and translate this into a roadmap that determines our investment priorities and transformation portfolio. The integration strategy needs to promote a seamless, end-to-end customer and employee experience by enabling the efficient creation and modification of effective and reusable integration components. In particular, the strategy should promote the use of modern, Cloud-based technologies; Infrastructure as Code (IaC), support typical integration use cases; create an operating model that satisfies the demands of the business for integration design, development, testing and release; and establish an integration catalogue that supports the reuse of new technologies, whilst targeting legacy integrations for decommissioning. The Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect should also help to execute and govern the strategy, by helping solution architects and projects to design solutions that are fit for purpose and conform to our standards and patterns.

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax & Customs practices in the UK.

We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 21 partners and approximately 200 professional staff in the UK.

The role in question is with the Trade & Customs team.

Trade & Customs

KPMG has a large team of Trade & Customs specialists located across the UK, working to support our national portfolio of clients with a variety of Trade & Customs issues. Within the team we have deep specialists in areas such as valuation, classification, origin and customs special procedures.  We work closely with our colleagues in Indirect Tax, other areas of Tax such as Transfer Pricing, and the wider Advisory business to deliver value to KPMG’s clients for whom we offer a wide range of services including customs advisory, compliance reviews and preparation of duty reclaims.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will be a key member of our team:

 

  • Providing high quality Customs & Trade advice on a broad range of issues to a wide range of clients.
  • Supporting senior members of the team in the delivery of client projects and business development initiatives
  • Day-to-day, direct contact with clients and developing long lasting, positive relationships.
  • Working with and developing Tax Assistants within the team.
  • Helping to identify opportunities to implement and develop technology solutions to deliver compliance and advisory projects.
  • Working with and contributing to the diverse and friendly team.

Responsible for driving awareness of the KPMG ServiceNow Practice and solution capability to drive successful origination and growth of the ServiceNow Business across the UK and Switzerland. Providing trusted advisor expertise to fulfilling our client’s strategy business and technology needs. The Senior Sales Manager role will progress opportunities for ServiceNow Practice in the market by leveraging a hybrid skillset of business development, presales, technical excellence and delivery.  

They will advocate innovation both within the firm and with clients and take a wider role in developing team members to their full potential as well as promoting collaboration across teams. The person will need to understand client business issues at a macro industry level and shape an integrated solution, encompassing the best of both KPMG ServiceNow Practice and the wider KPMG LLP. 

You will be confident in working along with others to win in client situations and deliver sustainable outcomes. Deep relationships with ServiceNow and bringing new opportunities to strategically partner with ServiceNow are a must. You will also have a track record of growing and developing a business in a hyper growth situation and leading and developing a Sales team in the highly challenging environment whilst still delivering profitability.
