We work with leading public sector clients, focusing on understanding the core issues and opportunities to deliver value-adding change across their finance functions. Our Financial Transformation practice is a priority area for significant and strategic growth and the team works with leading Investment and Retail Banks, focusing on understanding the core issues and opportunities, to deliver value-adding change across their Finance & Risk functions. The key drivers of change for our Banking clients are regulatory reform, cost reduction and Finance optimisation and our service offerings reflect this demand.

The role sits within our Banking Finance Transformation Capability working with Clients to deliver finance and regulatory change. Successful candidates should have excellent Banking Industry experience, as well as in-depth knowledge of Finance Operating Model and Finance Systems.

Our team help the UK’s largest and most complex organisations develop cloud strategies, build the operating models, architectures and capabilities to deliver value from cloud, and operate their cloud or hybrid estates effectively and cost-efficiently.

To support our clients, we use KPMG’s deep industry insights, C-suite relationships, cloud architecture capabilities, alliances and accelerators ranging from our cloud value labs, KPMG Cloud Cost Management models, Cloud controls frameworks and landing zones.  Our 350+ strong engineering teams implement these strategies and solutions – sitting at the heart of major transformations across the UK, helping technology executives convert business strategy into compelling technology outcomes.

We are seeking a talented individual to manage and deliver client engagements, with demonstrable experience of managing the design and delivery of complex change and transformation programmes (People-Centric Transformation) to support our clients with addressing key market challenges. Typically, these programmes would cover at least one of the following areas: Target Operating Model Design, Organisational Redesign, Financial Recovery Programmes, Service Improvement, Back-Office Transformation and Digital Transformation.

Our work is incredibly varied and on a day-to-day basis your work could cover:

• Managing a team of consultants and working closely with client teams to deliver client engagements
• Providing specialist advice and working closely with client leads and team members to successfully deliver project outcomes
• Contributing to business development and sales, working with account teams to scope opportunities and developing compelling proposals to win new clients
• Contributing to the development of methods, tools and thought leadership
