• Banking Accounting Advisory (BAA) is a team of Banking and Financial Services technical accounting specialists with extensive experience delivering expert accounting advisory services, financial reporting and regulatory change projects to major Tier-1 global banks, challenger banks and building societies.

• We have deep expertise in complex accounting within the Banking and Financial Services sector such as IFRS 9, hedge accounting, securitisations and other structured transactions, derivatives, and deal accounting for mergers and acquisitions and group reorganisations.

The Cyber Strategy  Manager role is pivotal to the sustainable growth of the Cyber Strategy service area within the UK, supporting the delivery of cyber strategy services to our clients

Our Securitisation team is made up of client facing staff delivering a range of engagements across a broad spectrum of clients. These clients include investment banks who arrange securitisation transactions and the clients who undertake them, including national and ‘challenger’ banks, foreign banks, building societies, leasing and other lending companies.

We are recruiting a Manager who will be involved in all aspects of project managing our engagements from planning through to completion. Your role will include executive level client interaction and provide you with the exposure to multiple clients on a regular basis. Our current activity levels support the growth and expansion of the existing team.

You will work as part of our rapidly growing Tax Technology & Innovation team. KPMG is investing $5bn over 5 years in technology. You will lead a team that will be at the forefront of changing an entire industry, helping our clients adapt and make the most of technological advances to help them better manage their tax obligations.

You will lead a portfolio of projects and propositions, leading a team of business analysts and project delivery leads to work closely with our clients on groundbreaking solutions to solve their Tax challenges. You will work with the leadership of our tax and technology business to execute our business strategy as well as ensuring that we make the most of technological change. No prior experience in tax or accounting is necessary but previous experience will help in this role.

KPMG’s Fixed Asset Tax Services Team (capital allowances) is made up of tax advisers, accountants, chartered surveyors and ex-HMRC inspectors who deliver expert advice to a broad range of clients across almost every industry sector. Our team works with clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large multinational organisations. We are seeking a Manager to join our London team, focusing primarily on the real estate, infrastructure, banking, and insurance sectors, who has a background in capital allowances, tax or accounting.

Role and Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be:

• A client-facing individual, responsible for building internal and external relationships in order to win projects and drive sales growth both independently and as part of the market team.
• Working with and managing engagement teams both locally and nationally to prepare capital allowances claims, elections and allowances statements.
• Actively involved in delivering and managing ad-hoc advisory work such as entitlement reviews, transaction input (such as tax due diligence, structuring and modelling) and significant one-off consultancy projects.
• Managing internal mandatory risk procedures.
• Ensuring the junior engagement team are keeping documentation up to date and managing junior team members.
