Global Digital Workplace (GDW) is responsible for Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms across all KPMG member firms. We design, operate, and govern enterprise services including Teams, SharePoint, Viva, Exchange and automation frameworks supporting user lifecycle, compliance, and service enablement at global scale.

Role summary

Engineering role focused on maintaining and enhancing global Microsoft 365 automation services, ensuring continuity, compliance, and scalable user lifecycle management for Microsoft Teams and wider collaboration platforms.

KPMG’s Customer Transformation team within the Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for a client-facing Associate Director role, with a Financial Services focus (ideally Banking or Insurance) and experience of customer transformation programmes.  

Our team works closely with client executives who own products; distribution channels; servicing centres; strategy and innovation teams; customer insight teams. We are accelerating our mission to create value, by turning ambitions into reality, through executing sustainable, fair and profitable customer strategies, at pace.

This role supports the development and drafting of global guidance and communications for sustainability reporting, financial reporting and corporate reporting more broadly, as well as relevant audit and assurance considerations relating to forthcoming and existing IFRS Accounting Standards, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

We are looking for seasoned GBS practitioners to join us and help grow our GBS advisory practice in the UK, to shape and articulate the GBS/SSC strategy and value proposition to C-level and VP level clients.

You'll design and develop GBS/SSC shared services operating models for our clients across various corporate functions such as finance, HR, IT, supply chain/logistics, procurement etc including governance and service management capabilities, along with the service catalogues and service level agreements, and apply leading practice end to end process expertise in one or more core finance, HR, IT, supply chain/logistics, procurement or other corporate functions in order to design and implement new re-engineered processes in a Shared Services or Business Process Outsourcing operating model
