As Manager in Governance, Risk and Compliance Services, you will lead grants assurance and internal audit work that helps public-sector organisations strengthen governance, manage risk and maintain effective controls. You will manage a varied portfolio, including local authority grant certification, fully outsourced internal audit engagements and relationships with senior client stakeholders. By guiding teams, applying professional judgement and delivering clear, high-quality assurance, you will contribute directly to successful client outcomes and the growth of the practice. Indirect Tax - VAT

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. Our 20 Partners and approximately 200 professionals provide advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Environmental Taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
Within the National Markets Indirect Tax team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain and International Trade, FS, Public Sector, Leisure and Travel. The majority of the team specialise in VAT but we also have Trade and Customs and Environmental Tax specialists within the team. Our clients range from large organisations and corporates through to smaller fast growing businesses. The team deliver value and support our portfolio of clients.

The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 20 partners and approximately 200 professional staff located across the UK.  We work to support our portfolio of clients with a variety of Indirect tax issues.  Within the team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain, International Trade, alongside our Public Sector specialisms.  We work closely with our colleagues in Trade & Customs, Corporate and Employment tax to deliver value to KPMG’s clients.

KPMG’s Fixed Asset Tax Services Team (capital allowances) is made up of tax advisers, accountants, chartered surveyors and ex-HMRC inspectors who deliver expert advice to a broad range of clients across almost every industry sector. As one of the largest teams in the industry, our continued investment and desire to grow means that we seek a capital allowances specialist in Scotland.

Our team works with clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large multinational organisations. We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Scotland team who has a background in capital allowances, tax or accounting. The work is varied and will be across a number of sectors.
