The Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) at KPMG UK (ca. 400 FTEs) provide in-depth advice on strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Power & Utilities, Transport, Social Infrastructure, Government, Major Projects, in the UK and Europe. Our work includes market and policy design, economic and regulatory analysis, deal structuring and execution, as well as strategic and transaction advice to enable private and public capital to fund infrastructure. We work closely with other functions within KPMG to advise clients on due diligence, transactions and valuations.

Power & Utilities (P&U), led by Dr Matt Firla-Cuchra, counts c85 FTEs is the largest business area of IAG and encompasses work for major clients in the sector, including all UK utilities as well as some of the largest energy and water companies in Europe and beyond. We provide in-depth strategy, market, regulatory, cost assessment, corporate finance, transaction and energy transition advice to players and investors in the utilities sector. KPMG’s Strategy Group is looking for exceptional candidates for an Associate Director role, with a background in Manufacturing, Logistics or Supply Chain ideally within the Consumer Goods & Retail sector (other sectors could be considered for exceptional candidates) and ideally with some exposure to Deals (Integrations, Separations and Due Diligence).

• Experience of ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle and/or best of breed supply chain solutions (LLamasoft, Kinaxis, o9, Anaplan etc)

• Change management experience in complex, multi-national environments (a plus).

The role is responsible for leading key aspects of the monthly payroll cycle, providing direction and support to colleagues, and taking ownership of performance, service quality and continuous improvement across assigned areas. KPMG payroll pays almost 16,000 people each month, and the Payroll Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring colleagues are paid accurately, on time and in line with relevant legislation, policy and controls.

As part of the Finance team, the Payroll Department is responsible for the regular monthly payment of over 16,000 UK employees. The Payroll Manager is expected to lead with confidence, judgement and accountability, working closely with a 16-person payroll team and stakeholders across KPMG’s UK offices to deliver a high-quality payroll service.
