Power & Utilities (P&U) is the largest business area of the IAG and encompasses work for major clients in the sector, including all UK utilities as well as some of the largest energy and water companies in Europe and beyond. We provide in-depth strategic and technical advice on strategy and business planning and analysis, corporate finance and corporate financial management, regulatory policy, cost assessment and benchmarking as well as in other areas to help our clients create value for both shareholders and customers. The Global Decarbonization Hub Assistant Manager will directly support our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as they drive KPMG’s Climate Change, Decarbonisation and Nature (CDN) propositions, supporting our Member Firms (MFs) to sell and deliver CDN services to their most important clients. The Assistant Manager will focus particularly on Decarbonisation and Transition Plans, assisting GDH SMEs as they support MFs with proposals through to bid stage and delivery, helping MFs to succeed in their pitches for our largest and most important opportunities globally. The Assistant Manager will also support the GDH's SMEs to globalise KPMG’s offerings across the Decarbonisation agenda, collaborating with our global network and building KPMG’s reputation as a CDN services leader.
