  • KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager  - with substantial  post qualified experience in the real estate sector ideally working for clients with repeat activity. 
  • The KPMG Law UK real estate team started in December 2023 and is now 11 strong including 5 Partners with further growth plans during 2026 already acting on repeat investment, development and asset management mandates for private equity funds, sovereign wealth and listed property company clients.
  • The successful candidates will have experience within corporate and/or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
  • The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).
  • Ideally the candidates will be known in the market with good contacts in the target client base.

About the Role:

The Dynamics CE Solution Architect is a core team member of KPMG customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 cantered solutions. The CE Solution Architect should have extensive experience across all phases of enterprise Dynamics CE projects. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused on Dynamics CE functionality, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst leading and mentoring more junior staff.

 

This role is an important element of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE projects. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities working closely with client teams and business stakeholders
  • Lead, organise, manage, and document workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with the client representatives, project stakeholders and delivery team(s)
  • Ownership for the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using their deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities
  • Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream
  • Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as our client engagements
  • Interface effectively with other members of the delivery team and the solution Architect to ensure that the Power Platforms solution meets client’s requirements
  • Strong contribution to the wider CE practice by defining training needs within the team and coaching or mentoring other team members
  • Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary
  • Deliver high quality business and software solutions and services to clients ensuring the implementation of best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configuration/customisations 
  • The creation of high quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation including support for testing activities
  • Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to KPMG project methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan: on time and on budget
  • Contribute to Pre-Sales activities as required including building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations
  • Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills, and behaviour

The Senior Data Analyst will be an integral part of a team delivering analytics solutions to clients across KPMG’s Tax & Legal practice. 

 

Working with a mixture of UK-based and India-based data engineers and data analysts, you will play a key role in designing and implementing analytic solutions for both internal and external clients. 

 

The role can be based anywhere in the UK, though preference will be given to candidates in Glasgow and London. Regular travel to Glasgow or London will be required once travel conditions permit this. Remote or part-time workers are welcome to apply.

 

Whilst there is no expectation of existing knowledge of tax, we would expect you to develop a degree of domain knowledge over time.

We are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager to provide tax advisory, compliance management and business development services to our clients and targets.
This work would include:

• Being the principal contact with many clients on day to day tax matters and working with managers, senior managers, directors or partners on larger clients• Being involved on tax advisory and planning work on client portfolio and working with senior colleagues and specialists to deliver expertise to the local market
• Assisting with business development and attending client events.  
• Responding appropriately to requests from clients for other KPMG services.  Co-ordinating a number of different teams internally to provide a single point of contact for the client in delivering a comprehensive cross-tax offering.
• Working with the tax computation processing team in the management and delivery of tax compliance work. Monitoring the tax compliance position using tax administration software
• Reviewing corporation tax computations and advising the client on the computational treatment of contentious issues
• Co-ordinating tax payments, loss relief, capital allowances, group relief and other claims
• Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.
• Coaching and developing more junior members of staff
• Maintaining strong financial management of client accounts. For example making sure that fees are raised regularly and identifying situations where overruns can be billed
• Keeping internal control records up to date and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures

The Individual:


• Qualified (ACA or CTA or equivalent)
• Sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation and preferably awareness of international tax issues• Sound knowledge of accountancy principles, in particular accounting for tax (including deferred taxation and accounts disclosures)
• Strong time and task management skills.  Able to remain calm when under pressure and meet deadlines
• Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work
