Introduction

Large multi-national corporations (“MNCs”) are demanding seamless cross-border delivery of professionally managed services. To satisfy this market need, KPMG has created the KDN group of companies (“KDN”) to manage KPMG’s global delivery service model.

MNCs have consolidated their delivery operations into a handful of in-house global/regional locations which are used to support their hundreds of specialty service units worldwide. As tax, advisory and audit services become increasingly dependent on technology, MNCs will need to significantly increase their investments or outsource these activities to global providers with the expertise and scale to make the necessary technology investments and implement an efficient and centralized but nimble delivery model.

A Compelling Vision

Role Summary

The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is a key part of KDN and is responsible for managing the organisation’s global legal risk. The OGC is expanding by seeking an experienced Assistant Company Secretary who will be responsible for managing our corporate governance program. The incumbent will work directly with other KDN OGC team members (including the General Counsel) along with internal business partners and wider KPMG stakeholders and report to the General Counsel. The incumbent will need to be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision while understanding when to escalate issues within the OGC.

Key Accountabilities

The Assistant Company Secretary will be accountable for a full range of matters including:
In conjunction with the General Counsel, leading the organisation’s corporate governance program
Managing KDN’s subsidiary governance program, including compliance with all local requirements (with the assistance of local counsel)
Making all UK filings and registrations and manage filings and registrations in other jurisdictions
Maintaining KDN’s corporate records database and keeping up-to-date on deadlines and other requirements
Assisting with all Board meeting preparations including organising meetings, preparing notices and resolutions along with supporting materials
Researching corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues and providing succinct answers to questions
Managing the organisation’s signing and other authorities (e.g., banking) and ensure all records are accurate and maintained
Managing KDN’s ultimate beneficial ownership requirements and update all local UBO filings in a timely manner
Assisting with KDN’s annual audit
Organising transaction documents, signatures, closings and Sharepoint files

• Maintaining and updating the KDN OGC intranet sites

The Role

Lead the design and delivery of a Supply Chain workstream on a large SAP S/4HANA project
Use Business skills along with knowledge of SAP Supply Chain workstream to design and implement complex solutions for customers and between other workstreams
Understand client supply chain requirements and integration points with other functional areas, to optimise the processes and maximise the benefits of SAP
Design and implement process improvements by going through the project cycle (design, build, test, training, go-live, post go-live support)
Advise on technical integration of the SAP application with other customer and 3rd party tools/applications within Supply Chain
Lead and Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support/presenting with our SAP clients
Monitor SAP and Industry trends including awareness of SAP Roadmap and enhancements

The Person

SAP Supply Chain functional expertise in at least one of the following solution areas:

- SAP Integrated Business Planning
- SAP PP/DS
- SAP Digital manufacturing cloud (DMC)
- SAP ME/PEO
- SAP extended Warehouse Management
- SAP Enterprise Asset Management/PM/MRO
- SAP Order Management & Fulfilment/AATP/Logistics Execution
- SAP Product Lifecycle Management
- SAP Transport Management
Strong functional understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain process area and how they integrate with other business functions
Advise on technical integrations of SAP applications with other client and 3rd party tools/applications in the Supply Chain process area
SAP system design, build and deployment experience – 4 full lifecycle implementations preferred
Experience of SAP in Manufacturing industries, Consumer Packaging Goods, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, or Retail
Experience of facilitating a design workshop and then translating the requirements into design
Ability to build strong client relationships based on subject matter expertise and quality of delivery
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large volume of information
Strong interpersonal, team building, organisational and motivational skills
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members
Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity

Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support with our SAP clients (comfortable in presenting to C-Suite Stakeholders)
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and supporting multiple activities such as mentoring and capability knowledge transfer to enhance the practice.
Possess working knowledge of digital trends in Supply Chain (e.g., ESG, Industry 4.0, SCM Digital Solutions that integrate with SAP)
