• Banking Accounting Advisory (BAA) is a team of Banking and Financial Services technical accounting specialists with extensive experience delivering expert accounting advisory services, financial reporting and regulatory change projects to major Tier-1 global banks, challenger banks and building societies.

• We have deep expertise in complex accounting within the Banking and Financial Services sector such as IFRS 9, hedge accounting, securitisations and other structured transactions, derivatives, and deal accounting for mergers and acquisitions and group reorganisations.

• We also provide SME advice on the critical interactions between IFRS and PRA/EBA regulatory regimes.

What will you be doing?

• Assist with the management of client opportunities, deliver live engagements and provide input into larger multi-disciplinary teams.

This role sits specifically in the Technology and Sustainability in Infrastructure (TSI), cluster of MPA. In TSI, we help our clients to deliver and operate their assets more efficiently and effectively. The team is at the forefront of shaping some of the UK’s largest and most complex construction & infrastructure programmes.

As an Ignition Experience Producer, you will work as part of a team delivering client facing events across our services. During these engagements you will develop skills to enhance client experience across in person, hybrid and virtual delivery formats. You will learn the foundational aspects of delivering collaborative experiences and gain experience across the breadth of Ignition experience specialist roles, before identifying a specialist area to pursue. Beyond event delivery you will have an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the Ignition venture.

As a Manager, you will liaise directly with your clients responding to a range of technical queries, drawing both on your own expertise and identifying when additional input is required from more senior colleagues. You will lead teams and supervise the work of junior staff. You will also have performance management responsibilities for a small number of employees.

The Team

We are currently recruiting Tax Assistant Managers to join our successful Family Office & Private Client team based in the South (Bristol/Reading). 

As a national practice our FO&PC team consists of approximately 150 team members across the UK, led by 9 Partners and 15 Directors. 
We work with a variety of high net worth individuals – from stakeholders in privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses, executives of multi-national firms, landed estates and senior members of private equity firms; who may be tax resident and/or domiciled in a range of jurisdictions. We also specialise in providing advice to Trusts and Estates, and Partnerships. 
If you are a highly motivated qualified tax adviser/ accountant (ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA) with experience of working in personal tax, then we’d love to hear from you.  We recognise that there are also highly motivated individuals who are qualified though experience and may not be exam qualified and we are open to considering such individuals also.
