The Solution Architect will design and guide secure, scalable and future-ready solutions for audit technology services. The role will work with audit business teams, architects, technology teams, delivery teams and vendors to shape architectures that deliver measurable value and remain robust, maintainable and aligned to KPMG technology policies and standards.

As a trusted advisor, the Solution Architect will help resolve complex delivery and design challenges, support teams to deliver with confidence, and contribute to a growing portfolio of audit technology products and services.

The Clara Technology & Solutions team are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to; design, develop, and deploy AI systems for audit use cases, producing clean, efficient, and scalable code aligned to software engineering principles, LLMOps practices, and cloud-native development.  As well as support the implementation of AI pipelines, APIs, and data integration workflows, leveraging an AI-Native Engineering approach and tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot. 

• Act as the technical lead for the Gamma AI Engineering Squad within Audit Technology, owning delivery, engineering quality, and architectural direction.
• Provide continuity of leadership and technical oversight as part of a backfill for the existing Squad Lead role, ensuring stability across ongoing AI initiatives.
• Drive the design, build, and deployment of scalable AI and Generative AI solutions embedded within core audit platforms.

You must help make sense of this new complexity, and be able to tame it through judicious use of both old and new technologies coupled with “hybrid” processes that address the needs of both the legacy and the new platform environments. You will have knowledge of both the traditional enterprise landscape, as well as an appreciation of the major cloud platforms and the opportunities, capabilities and pitfalls they present. You will be responsible for helping KPMG to clarify client problems and assist the development of logical and implementable solutions to those problems through robust analysis.
