The Principal Data Engineer will be accountable for shaping the technical direction for data engineering initiatives and services within Technology & Solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise in Databricks and cloud data engineering with proven team leadership capabilities and a passion for driving innovation. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions, championing modern engineering practices including AI-assisted development, and fostering a high-performing team culture focused on excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.

The Solution Architect will design and guide secure, scalable and future-ready solutions for audit technology services. The role will work with audit business teams, architects, technology teams, delivery teams and vendors to shape architectures that deliver measurable value and remain robust, maintainable and aligned to KPMG technology policies and standards.

As a trusted advisor, the Solution Architect will help resolve complex delivery and design challenges, support teams to deliver with confidence, and contribute to a growing portfolio of audit technology products and services.

The Treasury Tax team is a growing specialist group providing technical support on deals, financing transactions, international structuring and other complex tax advisory matters.  We work closely with Corporate Tax client service teams to deliver high quality advice that is practical, commercially focused and technically robust.
