The Technology Implementation Manager will support the adoption and implementation of KPMG’s compliance technology platform across both the UK and EMA firms. You will manage innovation through automation and transformation, analytics, and data driven solutions, enabling multinational clients to achieve global tax and accounting compliance with greater efficiency, accuracy, and control.

As a Qualified Actuarial Consultant at KPMG you take a lead delivery role, managing small teams of advisors and auditors to a wide range of general insurance companies, in the Retail and Commercial sectors, including within Lloyd’s and the London Market. The entities that KPMG work with range from FTSE100 and global (re)insurers to smaller specialist insurers. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from Solvency II support (eg IMV and Capital modelling support) to Financial Transformation projects to supporting our Deals team in large fast moving transactions. For our audit work we review clients’ reserving and capital assessments and forming their own independent assessments – this is the process we use widely when we provide specialist support on audits. Our practitioners have benefited by improving the breadth of their knowledge of reserving and getting exposure to and engagement with senior leadership within the insurance industry.

Tax Technology & Innovation are a team of 300+ technologists providing technology enablement services and solutions across the Tax and Law business. This business has 2500+ tax & legal professionals covering multiple disciplines. We serve many thousands of clients and private individuals by providing a modern, market-leading suite of technology solutions that provide an efficient digital experience from routine to complex tax advice.  

Tax is highlighted frequently as an industry where generative AI will have a significant impact on how services are provided. You will be working as a team at the forefront of navigating that change and redefining the way in which tax is determined in the UK and globally, making sure people and companies pay the right amount of tax with the minimum amount of effort. 

The team is made up of Technology Consultants, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Architects & Engineers, multi-disciplinary Engineering teams and IT Service delivery professionals working on a large portfolio of systems used to improve productivity and solve key business problems across Tax & Legal. We also build cutting edge web portals for clients to interact with KPMG, maximising collaboration and ensuring seamless delivery of information to our clients.

The Technology Implementation Assistant Manager will support the adoption and implementation of KPMG’s compliance technology platform across both the UK and EMA firms. You will support innovation through automation, analytics, and data-driven solutions, enabling multinational clients to achieve global tax and accounting compliance with greater efficiency, accuracy, and control. This role offers the opportunity to develop project management skills and gain exposure to large-scale technology implementations in a supportive team environment.

Join our innovative Tax Technology & Innovation team at KPMG as an Assistant Manager, where you will help deliver and support the adoption of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, across our tax and legal practice and for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, senior leaders, and clients to implement solutions that address complex tax challenges and drive operational improvements.

You will play a key role in supporting project delivery, engaging with clients, and promoting technology adoption within the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and innovation to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact in the tax industry. Prior experience in tax or accounting is advantageous but not essential.
