We are looking for a Manager to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) tax team in our Midlands region. The role will be based in Birmingham.

KPMG's Global Mobility Service (GMS) practice is a diverse and fast-growing area of our Tax business. We serve some of the biggest names, with high-profile engagements touching every corner of world. Our GMS engagement teams are “360 degree service oriented”, with tax technical, client development and client-facing responsibilities as part of each successful candidates remit. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a confident, outward-facing skillset, and who is willing to invest time and energy in the marketplace.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for working closely with colleagues in defined benefit pensions. Specific areas of focus, but not exhaustive, will include

• Journey planning and risk management, aiming for self-sufficiency or buy out, and endgame options including use of surplus

• Funding advice to sponsors and advice on compliance with DB funding code

• Advice on contingent funding options and work on special purpose vehicles

• Pensions due diligence on mergers and acquisitions

• Provision of member education and communication

• Advice on benefit change, benefit design and implementation

• Advice on good governance and compliance

The Role:
The Copilot Technical Architect plays a critical role in the design, development, and delivery of Microsoft Copilot solutions across industries. The Security Operations Centre - Assistant Manager role will provide the pivotal function of planning, designing, building and sustaining SOC and Next-Generation SOC services, operating within the uppermost levels of Government.
