The Role

Deal Advisory Tax provides market leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors.  Whilst we have teams focused on clients in four key markets Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate and Energy & Infrastructure, we are a national and connected team, working and learning with each other.

• Corporates:  We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including Consumer, Life sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR and Banking & Insurance. 
• Asset Management:  We work with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewable/ Energy transition, and Real Estate Funds, both large and mid-cap, as well as institutional investors such as Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds.  Our clients have UK, European

Our Corporate Tax Compliance business is made up of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Corporate Tax Compliance specialists working with our cutting-edge technology platform and our advisory teams to provide a first-class service to our diverse client base which includes global and large domestic compliance clients with complex and interesting tax profiles. Role Overview

At KPMG, you will bring your industry knowledge and technology experience to map customer business challenges to Microsoft AI Business Solutions, shape end-to-end transformational journeys, and deliver real business value to our clients. The core element of the role is to drive new business in Central Government clients through collaborating with the broader firm, owning the Microsoft alliance within the sector and leveraging your industry connections to identify new opportunities and building partnerships to overseeing bids and ensuring successful delivery. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the public sector landscape.

This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Manchester office (other locations considered). As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects, tax structuring and international expansion.

Overview

This is an enormously exciting opportunity for a sales professional to represent KPMG across the Financial Services market across the Regions. Financial Services firms – including Insurers, Banks, Building Societies, Fintechs, and Wealth & Asset Managers – represent some of the most dynamic and impactful enterprises in the UK market. The Northern region in particular is recognised as a national engine for growth, innovation and opportunity, with FS organisations and regulators increasingly enhancing their presence outside of London and into the Regions. In this role you will be facing into that market on behalf of the firm, understanding businesses’ challenges and strategies, convening client contacts with KPMG professionals, and bringing a creative and entrepreneurial mindset to join the dots within our firm in order to deliver solutions of real value.
