KPMG’s Insurance Enterprise Architecture practice is a leading independent advisor for Technology Architecture professional services. We help CIOs, CTOs and their management teams transform their businesses and IT services. Our clients have to develop robust and executable strategies that have to account for the continual development of technology, with current focus being on Digital disruption, exploitation of cloud technologies and modernising the IT estate.

We help these organisations understand and evaluate their strategic options, build business cases, design the roadmaps and then continually optimise. We have deeply skilled architects to support this journey and make the path robust throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

We are growing our Insurance Architecture team to respond to the increasing demand and in particular seeking technologists with architecture backgrounds and experience in Enterprise Architecture within the Insurance sector. Within the Insurance Architecture team, we work across all areas of the sector, from General Insurance, to Health Insurance, Life and all of London Markets, including Carriers, Brokers, Underwriting, MGA’s, as well as all aspects of the value chain. We look to simplify streamline end-to end architecture, reduce legacy, ensure appropriate governance is in place, as well as advise on new and innovative technology to enable our clients to grow their business and differentiate themselves in the market.

This exciting role is within our South Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our South Central or South West offices.

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.

We design, operate, and govern enterprise services including Teams, SharePoint, Viva, Exchange and automation frameworks supporting user lifecycle, compliance, and service enablement at global scale.
