The Role

DAT provides market leading advice to corporates and financial institutions on a broad range of transactions. 

Embedded within DAT is our Private Equity & Credit team. The PE&C team works with large and mid-cap private equity and credit intuitions, advising them throughout the deal spectrum including buy-side due diligence and structuring, sell-side vendor assist, due diligence and structuring, refinancing, restructuring and listing support.

The PE&C team has advised on some of the largest deals in the market, helping clients understand and quantify historical tax issues, structure transactions, model tax outcomes and reflect advice in the legal documents underpinning each transaction, all with a continuous focus on maximising value throughout the investment cycle. Working collaboratively across the KPMG network, our work often involves advice across multiple countries, taxes, and work streams.

The Role

Deal Advisory Tax provides market leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors.  Whilst we have teams focused on clients in four key markets Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate and Energy & Infrastructure, we are a national and connected team, working and learning with each other.

• Corporates:  We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including Consumer, Life sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR and Banking & Insurance. 
• Asset Management:  We work with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewable/ Energy transition, and Real Estate Funds, both large and mid-cap, as well as institutional investors such as Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds.  Our clients have UK, European

Join our dynamic and rapidly growing Tax Technology & Innovation team at KPMG, where we are leading the way in transforming the tax industry through technology. As part of KPMG’s $5bn investment in technology over five years, you will play a key leadership role in helping both our clients and our internal teams harness the power of technological advances, particularly in artificial intelligence, to better manage tax obligations and drive business value.

In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of innovative projects and propositions, leading a team of business analysts and project delivery leads. You will work closely with clients to co-create and implement cutting-edge solutions that address their most pressing tax challenges, with a particular focus on AI-driven transformation. While prior experience in tax or accounting is advantageous, it is not required. We are seeking candidates with a strong track record in technology-driven project delivery, a passion for innovation, and the ability to inspire teams and clients alike.

KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for a Manager role.  The role will focus on Deal Strategy within the Media industry as part of the wider Telecommunications-Media-Technology sector, but with scope to work on the wider range of services including Growth Strategy, Deal Strategy, Cost and Operational strategy (including Economic Profitability Analysis) and Enterprise-wide Transformation.

The Strategy & Performance Transformation team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 150  practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Deal Advisory business.
