The In-House Tax team are looking to recruit a Manager, specialising in overseas employment and expatriate tax compliance. This is a hybrid working role. The individual will be required to demonstrate exceptional tax compliance skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The work will involve working closely with other tax professionals, to deliver an efficient overseas employment tax compliance service.

What will you be doing?

• Manage and work with engagement teams to develop claim methodologies and prepare R&D tax relief claims for submission to HMRC. Taking responsibility and accountability for your own, and your team’s work.
• Lead meetings with the senior IT technical and financial client stakeholders; and provide expert advice in relation to innovation advisory services (R&D, Patent Box, Grant Applications). Help to establish and maintain strong client relationships with both existing and new clients.

You will join a cross-functional ESP leadership team led by the Head of Education, Skills and Productivity and supported by a sales executive and a BDM focused on central government, and working alongside a talented team of partners and directors who face into the wider education market.

The role is to lead the translation of the national ESP market strategy into national and regional growth plans and in doing so ensure the plans reflect local client issues and the local impact of national public sector policy.
