Reporting to the Senior Learning Business Partner, you will build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders in your business super service lines. Using your knowledge and experience of the core learning and HR competencies, coupled with your commercial awareness, you will translate your clients’ business needs into realistic and achievable solutions that reflect the learning strategy and deliver impact. Our economics team is part of our well-established utilities regulatory consulting practice, so you will benefit from working closely with other professionals who frequently support us on our cases, including regulatory finance experts and econometricians. The projects you will advise on will be high profile and varied. In recent years we have advised on subsidy control, CMA re-determinations, risk analysis, major transactions and much more.

Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in running projects and maintaining client relationships with minimal supervision from Directors and Partners.
• Ensure that client work is delivered to the highest standards in both content and form, managing client interactions, tracking budgets, and complying with the company’s risk processes.
• Lead project teams of 2-12 people, fostering a collaborative spirit and culture of respect. Maintain a positive attitude when the team is under pressure, supporting other team members.
• Play a key role in our sales efforts, building and maintaining effective relationships with key clients across the sector, as well as with other advisors. Identify and act on new opportunities with both new and existing clients.
• Be involved in the wider management and development of the P&U Regulatory Finance team, including contributions to recruitment, performance appraisal, mentoring and thought leadership.

M365 Senior Technical Architect

The Role:

The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for delivering and implementing KPMG’s M365 solutions for our clients. The Senior Architect will be comfortable presenting these solutions to clients in workshops and demonstrations. The Senior Architect will manage the end-to-end delivery working with other Architects and Consultants to ensure our projects are delivered with time and quality a key objective. The Senior Architect will mentor junior members of the team and encourage a collaborative working environment. 
 

The Senior Architect will be responsible for:

• Creating architectural designs based on customer requirements.
• Deliver product presentations and configured demonstrations to prove our ability to meet a prospect’s cloud adoption needs.
• Act as the Technical Design Authority on projects alongside the Solution Architects.
• Provide governance to projects and mentor members of the team. 
• Maintaining technical knowledge by working closely with our Microsoft account teams. 
• Developing and implementing Entra/Active Directory solutions, including Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory (AD DS, AD FS, AD CS and Entra Connect)
• Ensuring the security and configuration of Entra and Active Directory environments.
• Work with clients demonstrate how their cloud strategy aligns with Microsoft technology.
• Showcase our propositions to customers via online webinars and face to face workshops.
• Engage with KPMG stakeholders and ensure our solutions are understood throughout the firm. 
• Work on proposals and RFI’s alongside the sales and pre-sales teams.
