Role Summary

The KDN Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for managing the organisation's global legal and regulatory risk. The OGC is expanding by seeking an experienced commercial and/ or regulatory lawyer who will deliver practical and business-focused legal advice to our business and corporate services partners and work collaboratively with other KPMG network firms worldwide. This is a sophisticated generalist role with some regulatory responsibilities.

How you will make your mark

• Provide legal support on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters for a global professional services organisation.
• Advise on day-to-day matters including contracts, corporate governance, technology, privacy and data security, regulatory compliance and other commercial, regulatory and related issues which arise.
• Support HR on complex employment law issues

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of matters, including being involved in the processes for approving KPMG’s new services and products, assisting with general commercial queries, drafting software licences, supporting our deals teams and providing contract support for KPMG’s engagement teams. 

The Major Projects Advisory (MPA) practice sits in Customer, Operations, and Infrastructure (CO&I): one of seven super service lines across KPMG’s Advisory business.  Operating from all over the UK we do work those matters, serving the Country with diligence and expertise.
