We are looking for a transformation change professional to join our busy, growing team. Our Programme Assurance team works with clients to help them deliver their transformations successfully by helping them to navigate risk. We do this by using our delivery and assurance experience to review programme status, and where required, provide practical recommendations to help move our clients delivery forwards. We have expertise across areas such as: PMO, change, testing, data migration, early life support and service transition. Our portfolio of clients are undertaking change programme enabled by a range of technology platforms including SAP, MSD, Workday and Oracle. Key areas of expertise: 

 

Leadership & Management: Management of multiple engagements at one time working for a dedicated Senior Manager and / or Director. Leadership of the junior team to coach and develop their skills and experience around Programme Assurance.

 

Stakeholder Interaction & challenges: Engagement directly with senior stakeholders at our clients (for example Programme Directors and CFOs), robustly and articulately describing risks and recommendations from our assurance work. 

 

Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance: Role will be contribute to risk management activities over large multimillion pound engagements which will run over a multi year period. Programme Assurance work is by nature high risk and this role will therefore need to be adhering to all KPMG risk processes.

 

Role requirements: 

 

  • Full understanding of an end to end business transformation ERP programme, understands the challenges involved and therefore the requirements of programme assurance.
  • Full understanding of all critical workstreams including PMO, business change, business architecture, testing, data and cutover / transition and ability to lead focussed reviews in these areas.
  • Strong awareness of the key risks a programme will generally experience throughout the life-cycle and critically what mitigations are required to course correct.
  • Ability to convert observations into risks with clear impact articulation and practical recommendations (not text book ones)
  • Ability to manage multiple pieces of work (stage gates, deep dives etc) and align to other client side assurance activities (such as IA driven work). Ability to speak to internal Q&A teams using the right language around 1st / 2nd  / 3rd line etc.

Do you enjoy tax technical research and solving complex technical queries? We are looking for a talented individual at Manager level, from either a corporate or mixed tax background, to be part of our national Central Technical Team. The ideal candidate will have very strong technical skills, drive and curiosity.

 

The Central Technical team works together with teams across the tax practice to collect, create, curate and communicate technical insight for the benefit of our teams and clients. This involves both carrying out original research and analysing knowledge submissions to produce and maintain technical resources to support our teams in delivering work to clients, assisting with complex technical queries, producing tax technical newsletters and monitoring important tax technical developments arising as a result of case law or the annual Budget and Finance Bill process, working closely with the separate Tax Policy team as required.

 

We are currently growing the team in order to increase our breadth of technical expertise within the central team, accelerate the expansion of our collection of detailed technical guidance, and ensure that our reference materials are current, maintained, and complement developments in technology including new AI tools.

Team members are based all over the UK so we are flexible on location and support hybrid and flexible working. While the role is not directly client-facing it is essential that the candidate has a keen appreciation of the issues facing clients.

Our Securitisation team is made up of client facing staff delivering a range of engagements across a broad spectrum of clients. These clients include investment banks who arrange securitisation transactions and the clients who undertake them, including national and ‘challenger’ banks, foreign banks, building societies, leasing and other lending companies.

We are recruiting a Manager who will be involved in all aspects of project managing our engagements from planning through to completion. Your role will include executive level client interaction and provide you with the exposure to multiple clients on a regular basis. Our current activity levels support the growth and expansion of the existing team.
