The Team

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Asset Management Advisory (AMA) team, part of the KPMG Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG). Our team advises infrastructure owners in both the public and private sector, including government with their most complex challenges. IAG is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading independent financial and business advisers in infrastructure consisting of over 380 professionals.

Our team leads exciting projects across both public and private sectors principally focused on major capital and infrastructure portfolios in Transport, Energy, Water, Defence, Oil and Gas and Health. This is a fast-growing area offering many opportunities building upon a global capability in Asset Management where we provide:

• Asset Strategy and Transformation, including operating model design and transformation of asset management functions.
• Asset Health and Performance including investment planning, efficiency improvements in capital and operating expenditure, as well as asset resilience, asset data, investment business cases and benchmarking.

Job Title/Req Number: Corporate Intelligence Analyst

Summary of Role Purpose:

The Corporate Intelligence team is looking for a Chinese speaking intelligence analyst. You will help us grow our business and help clients identify and address key reputational and regulatory risks.

Description of the role:

You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging engagements, ranging from investigations and litigation support, integrity due diligence, third party risk management and ESG due diligence.

Your role will include iterative research, retrieval and analysis of public record information and drafting of succinct, actionable intelligence reports. The main responsibilities for Research Analysts will include:

• Conducting desktop-based research in Simplified Chinese and other relevant languages. Using a variety of specialist database resources, covering a wide range of corporate, media, credit and regulatory data across China and other jurisdictions;
• Conducting intuitive and creative research using a variety of other online and offline public record sources, especially corporate registries and databases in a variety of countries and languages;
• Sourcing public record information from manual and offline sources, including using external third parties where necessary;
• Combining the above skills to draft and deliver time-critical, succinct and actionable intelligence reports to clients, both internal and external;
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals to clients and supporting the marketing efforts of the Corporate Intelligence team;
• Assisting in the tasking of external third party sources;
• Enhancing the team’s understanding of geopolitical and business risks/opportunities in the Greater China region and the wider APAC region; and,
• Supporting the development of research, thought leadership, and other marketing efforts for the corporate intelligence team.

Role dimensions:

Leadership & Management:

You will be the team’s subject matter expert for the Greater China region, acting as the go-to expert for key research tools in the region as well as business, reputation, integrity and geopolitical risk trends. You may be asked to instruct and manage external researchers and contractors. You will work with other team members to ensure the team’s research, tools and knowledge are up-to-date in your region.

Stakeholder Interaction & challenges:

You will work with experienced senior Corporate Intelligence and wider Forensic team members, conducting independent research and drafting reports. You will have to manage your time to meet competing client deadlines. You may be invited to assist with client calls and proposals, present or contribute thought leadership.

Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance:

Your key responsibilities will include the timely delivery of succinct, high quality intelligence reports, and maintaining an audit trail of relevant findings. You will be accountable for the quality and accuracy of your research and findings.

The Person:

Essential experience

• Very strong academic qualifications, ideally in politics, international relations, languages, or other disciplines in social science;
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral;
• Fluency in Mandarin with the ability to conduct research, interview sources, and translate accurately. Additional foreign languages are a plus (preferred languages are Russian, German, Dutch, Arabic, Italian);

MS Dynamics Solution Architect     
 

Role Purpose
KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions is building a world class Microsoft Dynamics Practice:  The team is focusing on advisory and implementation services that relate to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM & ERP). This will include leading the implementation of these systems and engagements relating to Independent Programme Assurance where third parties are delivering such programmes. 

The Solution Architect role is required to lead the technical delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM centred solutions on large complex programmes or a portfolio, drive deep technical expertise within DevOps and functional leadership within the practice to deliver quality, client-centric solutions. Provides deep industry expertise to build and cultivate strong business relationships at a senior level. The role will champion innovation both within the firm and with clients, sharing Thought Leadership within the practice across the relevant Industry specialism. Collaborating with the Global team to enhance the out of the box Dynamics functionality, giving KPMG a unique selling point and also a resalable asset. Takes a leading role in identifying development needs of team members and provides coaching, mentoring or stretch assignments to support individuals achieve their full potential as well as promoting collaboration across team.
    
Role Responsibilities    

• Leads customer delivery of our Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM centred solutions on large, complex programmes or portfolios, through the management of a team of professionals and possibly with the contribution of cross-functional/team specialists
• Effectively manages commercial and contractual aspects of an engagement to achieve expected levels of quality and profitability
• Executes projects to a level that meet member firm’s quality standards within a commercial context.
