The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving utilisation and dependence upon our firm as the go-to place for all things Microsoft at KPMG. Acting as a trusted advisor, the BDM will support member firms in shaping strategic approaches that meet their clients’ business and technology needs.

The role will focus on creating and progressing opportunities for MBS across the International market, particularly within the Financial Services Sector—which includes industries such as Banking, Insurance, Asset Management & Pension. The successful candidate will have experience in company law for example, M&A, equity investments and joint ventures and corporate reorganisations gained at a city practice and be:

• able to understand the legal solution within the wider picture and who is keen to become a more rounded business adviser

• a good technical lawyer with a sound knowledge of the Companies Act

The role will involve:

• providing corporate legal advice on a broad range of client solutions spanning corporate reorganisations such as post-acquisition integration and legal entity rationalisation

• building relationships with other KPMG teams and KPMG clients to develop and provide multi-disciplinary solutions

• project managing projects to conclusion
 
It is expected that the successful applicant will be an English-qualified solicitor, gained in the UK at a reputable firm (but applicants with other suitable experience will also be considered). Strong academic, technical, and personal skills are essential.
