HR M&A was set up as part of the Integration & Separation (I&S) team in Deal Advisory, which has been growing year on year and seen by our clients as a market leader. To support this growth we have a fantastic opportunity for Directors to join our Transactions Assurance team and work with companies on the audit and assurance requirements of both UK and US initial public offerings, and with a wide variety of project-based assurance and accounting topics, including carve out transactions, acquisitions and opening balance sheet audits and complex private equity transactions.

As a Director, you will act as a role model for your teams, facilitating the effective and efficient delivery of these assurance engagements. You will be responsible for leading teams and supervising the work of staff and providing coaching and developmental support.  You will also be working alongside our Capital Markets and Due Diligence teams where relevant and have opportunities to lead conversations with diverse range of stakeholders involved in projects such as (sponsors, lawyers, accounting advisors). 

There will also be great opportunity to work on business development skills, for example, leading initial management conversations and qualifying opportunities.

We are currently one of the lead advisors on the financial and economic aspects of business rates valuations, particularly focusing on assets valued using the receipts and expenditure (“R&E”) method. Our business is continuously expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious rating surveyor to support expansion of our business rates capabilities into a wider range of industries where other methods of valuation are applied.

We are looking for a Director with Finance background to support the fast growing Power & Utilities Projects team covering water and energy infrastructure including new nuclear generation, onshore and offshore networks, interconnectors, and other major assets.
