Our Asset Management Advisory (AMA) team brings together individuals with deep sector expertise and experience implementing asset management and infrastructure solutions to solve challenges across a range of sectors. We work with major public and private sector entities, principally those with major capital and infrastructure commitments in Transport (highways and rail), Defence, Power & Utilities, Telecoms and Energy Transition. Our Transaction Services practice comprises approximately 500 people across the UK, organised to align to KPMG’s market orientated structure, and is at the heart of the Firm's agenda to increase its penetration of boardrooms and work with clients across the economic and transaction cycle. Our team works closely with colleagues across Deal Advisory as well as Tax, Audit and other Advisory teams; it is a multi-disciplinary and international environment that sits right at the heart of our One Firm agenda. We are recruiting Managers in our Private Equity, Financial Services, Corporates and Capital Markets teams across the UK to support the growth of our TS business.

Manager - Global Immigration 

Base Location: London

As a member of the client service team, supervise and manage engagements and other related activities under the general direction of partners, directors, and/or senior managers, leading staff, consultants and assistant managers in providing outstanding client service.

What will you be doing?

• Managing team activities to ensure compliance with KPMG risk management policies and procedures and manage engagement administration.
• Supervising and coaching junior members of staff to help them realise their full potential
• Final review of materials and communications for senior members of the practice for KPMG/client representation to immigration authorities and government officials
• Monitor client service standards, swiftly addressing delivery failures (such as missed SLAs) and implement resolution plan to ensure these are prevented
• Be responsible for effective management of engagement financials, cash collection and review of significant invoices

What will you need to do it?

• Extensive demonstratable experience in Global Immigration
• Thorough understanding of immigration concepts and issues and pro-actively research current immigration developments
• Previous experience working at Manager level within Global Immigration
• Experience of managing small teams, coaching and mentoring junior staff
• Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy and strong IT skills including very good MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point
