The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 105 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Advisory business, and are focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle. Our teams comprise of specialists capable of helping clients right through from conceptual thinking of buying a business to turning their business around in times of difficulty.

The People in M&A Centre of Excellence deals with all aspects of the employee journey in M&A, as well as leveraging our experience to enact transformational change outside of a deal context. From early-stage strategy development and organisational design for carve-outs, to synergy cases and cost benefits, employee experience and corporate culture, employee transfer, through to the conception, development and management of effective transformational solutions to help an organisation achieve its ambitions and objectives. We work together to develop solutions to the issues our clients may face and understand the financial benefits or risks that may be present from a people perspective. Our team is focused on serving the world's leading Corporate Treasuries with their most complex business challenges. The team offer deep treasury expertise in financial products and markets, risk management, systems, governance, valuation and accounting. We work closely with other high impact functions within KPMG such as Audit, Risk Consulting and Management Consulting to provide a wide range of treasury advisory services.

M365 Senior Technical Architect 

At KPMG Microsoft Business Solution we implement best in class solutions for Microsoft Copilot, M365, Azure, ERP and CRM. We have extensive knowledge and expertise in all areas, enabling us to provide our clients with an integrated end-to-end solution. Our solutions are based on the Microsoft M365, Azure and Dynamics range of products which enables us to deliver, powerful, adaptable cloud solutions. Such systems are strategic IT solutions which integrate all the management information across an entire organisation into one single intuitive software application. 
 

The Role:

The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for delivering and implementing KPMG’s M365 solutions for our clients. The Senior Architect will be comfortable presenting these solutions to clients in workshops and demonstrations. The Senior Architect will manage the end-to-end delivery working with other Architects and Consultants to ensure our projects are delivered with time and quality a key objective. The Senior Architect will mentor junior members of the team and encourage a collaborative working environment. 
 

The Senior Architect will be responsible for:

• Creating architectural designs based on customer requirements.
• Deliver product presentations and configured demonstrations to prove our ability to meet a prospect’s cloud adoption needs.
• Act as the Technical Design Authority on projects alongside the Solution Architects.
• Provide governance to projects and mentor members of the team. 
• Maintaining technical knowledge by working closely with our Microsoft account teams. 
• Developing and implementing Entra/Active Directory solutions, including Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory (AD DS, AD FS, AD CS and Entra Connect)
• Ensuring the security and configuration of Entra and Active Directory environments.
• Work with clients demonstrate how their cloud strategy aligns with Microsoft technology.
• Showcase our propositions to customers via online webinars and face to face workshops.
• Engage with KPMG stakeholders and ensure our solutions are understood throughout the firm. 
• Work on proposals and RFI’s alongside the sales and pre-sales teams.
