This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Manchester office (other locations considered). As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects, tax structuring and international expansion.

Power & Utilities (P&U) is one of the largest business areas of the Infratstructure team  and encompasses work for large clients in the sector, including all energy and water companies in the UK as well as some of the largest utilities in Europe and beyond. The role will be working in the UK Cyber Security practice within our Technology and Data service line in Advisory. Our clients are increasingly under cyber-attack and regulatory scrutiny to demonstrate effective management of cyber risk. Our specialists provide independent, jargon free advice and advanced technical capabilities to help our clients proactively manage cyber and technology risks to drive value from their business information assets whilst protecting business.

 Our cyber security services are defined within three capability groups:

• Cyber Risk, Resilience and Privacy
• Identity and access management (IAM) and cloud security
• Cyber Threat Management

Overview

This exciting role is within our South Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our South Central or Southwest offices.

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.
