KPMG UK’s Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) is a team of roughly 400 professionals and is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading independent financial and commercial advisers in the infrastructure sector. This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Leeds office. As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects, tax structuring and international expansion.

We are looking for a talented and technically orientated Senior Manager level to support our rapid growth. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

The role will suit either a Senior Manager wanting to drive their tax career forward or an ambitious Manager wanting to take the next step.

KPMG is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager in their in-house Tax team, specialising in partner tax compliance. Reporting to the Senior Manager in the Partner Tax Compliance team, the individual will be required to demonstrate excellent tax compliance skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The work is by nature high profile and the ability to treat matters with the utmost confidentiality will be key. The role involves interacting with individual partners and working alongside other internal departments including the Partnership Office, Risk and Independence, payroll and OGC to deliver an efficient tax compliance and advisory service to partners as well as the partnership.

Overview

This exciting role is within our Midlands Indirect tax team, based in our Midlands offices. 

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.
