The role is within KPMG UK’s Internal Partnership Tax Team who are responsible for 
dealing with all tax matters relating to KPMG ‘UK’. This role specifically involves reviewing 
and advising on overseas tax and reporting requirements when KPMG ‘UK’ colleagues 
travel/work overseas for business or are authorized to work overseas for personal reasons.

The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a growing and dynamic team. We deal with all aspects of the technology function, from strategy, cloud, digital, technology spend, etc. We work with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues.

MS Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect 
The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect with extensive experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. With a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, strong understanding of primary process and procedures combined with practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused around Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst leading and mentoring more junior staff. 

This role is therefore key to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm. 

Responsibilities:

• The Solution Architect will lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
• Involvement in full end-to-end implementations and all phases of project life cycle
• Involvement with D365FO interfaces and Integrations
• Solves and advises on complex problems with creative solutions 
• Be a champion for both technical and functional leading practice with the Finance Solution.
• Have an exceptional understanding of Dynamics 365 technical and functional capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Global team to enhance the out of the box Dynamics 365 functionality, giving KPMG a unique selling point and also a resalable asset.
• Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as our client engagements.
• Define training needs within the team and coach other team members.
• Deliver all consultancy according to the KPMG Methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour.
• Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
• Ensure progress updates are communicated to relevant parties both formally and informally.
• Awareness of product roadmap and the content of future releases of D365FO
• Demonstrate ability around upselling and understanding of additional company capabilities 
• Identify practice development activities and strong involvement in the creation and delivery of these to fellow colleagues

We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations. The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 13 partners and approximately 200 professional staff in the UK. The role in question is with the Trade & Customs team. Trade & Customs KPMG has a large team of Trade & Customs specialists located across the UK, working to support our national portfolio of clients with a variety of Trade & Customs issues. Within the team we have deep specialists in areas such as valuation, classification, origin and customs special procedures.  We work closely with our colleagues in Indirect Tax, other areas of Tax such as Transfer Pricing, and the wider Advisory business to deliver value to KPMG’s clients for whom we offer a wide range of services including customs advisory, compliance reviews and preparation of duty reclaims. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager who can make significant contributions to the FS Operations team with a specific focus on Capital Markets, through sector expertise, client engagement, identification and delivery of new business opportunities.
