About this team

The Global Insurance Management Team (“GIMT”) is responsible for the management, oversight and coordination of KPMG's Global Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) and First Party Cyber Insurance Programs providing business critical insurance to approximately 145 member firms within the KPMG network. The GIMT acts as a principal point of contact between insurers/brokers and KPMG Member Firms, providing guidance to KPMG Member Firms on matters pertaining to the Global PII and Cyber insurance programs and is involved in the development and procurement of other insurance placements for KPMG International.

Role summary

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Insurance Manager to join our Global Insurance Management Team (“GIMT”) experienced in the field of financial lines insurance particularly Professional Indemnity Insurance (“PII”) and Cyber Insurance. The individual will work closely with other GIMT team members and be responsible for providing technical insurance support in respect of KPMG's Global PII and Cyber Insurance Programs and in support of ongoing business change initiatives. The individual will interface directly with a range of internal and external stakeholders including KPMGI Senior Leadership, KPMG Member Firm Senior Partners, Risk Management Partners, General Counsels, insurers (including captive insurers) and brokers.

The role will focus on providing technical support and guidance relating to all aspects of insurance program management including program design and implementation, policy wording reviews, coverage analysis, insurance support for business change initiatives and issues associated with global insurance programs including insurance regulatory compliance. The KPMG Private Client tax team is a fast-growing and integral part of the wider KPMG tax practice. In order to support further growth we are looking to appoint a Senior Manager in Bristol. We are looking for excellent candidates with a proven track record in this area who are seeking a dynamic and supportive working environment to help deliver these solutions. You would be expected to lead the delivery of a quality output to our clients and participate in winning new clients by bringing new offerings to the market. Your client base would include a portfolio of high net worth clients, entrepreneurs, shareholders and international individuals.

We are seeking a talented individual to manage work streams on client engagements and to take a pro-active business development role by building relationships with clients. Typically, client engagements would cover at least one of the following areas: Target Operating Model Design, Organisational Redesign, Financial Recovery Programmes, Service Improvement, Back-Office Transformation and Digital Transformation.

You would need knowledge and skills in Behavioural Change Management, Organisation Development and ideally in one other area:

• Behavioural change management: Ensuring organisations realise the benefits of large-scale change projects by embedding new behaviours and minimising underperformance during the change
• Organisation development: Target operating model development, organisation design, role clarity, performance management, organisational culture, employee development and reward/recognition
• HR Transformation: Creating cost effective, integrated HR functions that contribute to the delivery of business strategy
• Talent Management: Helping clients identify, retain and develop talent, designing reward strategies/incentive schemes and performance management frameworks/processes
• Workforce Intelligence: Helping organisations get the most from their workforce, including strategic and operational workforce planning, terms and conditions of employment, TUPE, plus reward and incentive management

This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Manchester office. As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects including BEPS Pillar 2, tax structuring and international expansion.
