As a Qualified Actuarial Consultant at KPMG you take a lead delivery role, managing small teams of advisors and auditors to a wide range of general insurance companies, in the Retail and Commercial sectors, including within Lloyd’s and the London Market. The entities that KPMG work with range from FTSE100 and global (re)insurers to smaller specialist insurers. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from Solvency II support (eg IMV and Capital modelling support) to Financial Transformation projects to supporting our Deals team in large fast moving transactions. For our audit work we review clients’ reserving and capital assessments and forming their own independent assessments – this is the process we use widely when we provide specialist support on audits. The Learning Content team is responsible for designing and developing a diverse range of engaging and inclusive learning solutions for a broad client base across various sectors. What will you be doing?

• Attend project kick-off meetings and work with the Learning Content Lead, Instructional Designers (IDs) and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop branding, look & feel documentation and apply these standards to develop initial templates.
• Work with Learning Content Lead /Project managers to estimate completion time.
• Interpret storyboards and scripts to create visually engaging content, using experience to recommend appropriate solution format and design approach.
• Work closely with Instructional Designers to support the development of storyboards and scripts, providing technical suggestions to further enhance the learning solutions and ensure deliverables can meet quality, cost and timeframes as agreed with Project Management team and client.
• Source and produce Graphics and video/animations.
• Communicate ideas to stakeholders and suggest ways to innovate existing processes and solutions.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness when planning build, focussing on quality as well as commerciality.

What will you need to do it? 

• Experience in delivering innovative, compelling visual designs across a range of formats including digital, video, and print.
• Highly proficient in graphic design software, preferably using the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop / Illustrator / After Effects / Premiere.
• Experience working in a client-focused environment, with excellent collaboration skills and a flexible approach.

The Deal Execution Advisory Team

KPMG's Deal Execution Advisory Team is a growing and dynamic team. We work with both vendors and acquirers on mergers, acquisitions, divestments, exits and joint ventures, both pre and post-deal.

The team offers four key proposition areas:

Separation: Supporting vendors to plan and deliver a credible, discrete standalone entity to the Buyer with value preserved and business continuity in place from Day 1, including supporting the definition and implementation of transitional service agreements.

Integration: Pre and post deal integration design, planning and implementation to integrate the target business into the Buyer’s organisation whilst mitigating risk and enhancing value.
