• Banking Accounting Advisory (BAA) is a team of Banking and Financial Services technical accounting specialists with extensive experience delivering expert accounting advisory services, financial reporting and regulatory change projects to major Tier-1 global banks, challenger banks and building societies.

• We have deep expertise in complex accounting within the Banking and Financial Services sector such as IFRS 9, hedge accounting, securitisations and other structured transactions, derivatives, and deal accounting for mergers and acquisitions and group reorganisations.

• We also provide SME advice on the critical interactions between IFRS and PRA/EBA regulatory regimes.

As an Oracle Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Oracle projects, ensuring successful safe execution, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will lead multi-disciplined teams to drive delivery excellence, leveraging Agile, Waterfall & Hybrid methodologies. We are looking for talented Managers with UK corporate tax experience to join us at this exciting time and help implement, shape, and develop the Hub as we expand and invest significantly in Financial Services tax.

What will you be doing?

In addition to delivering corporate tax compliance services there are opportunities to be involved in tax advisory work, the development of our innovative technology solutions and also to participate in client demonstrations and other aspects of business development, to keep your role varied and tailored to your interests where possible.

With our technology enabled solutions our compliance specialists can focus on technical excellence, opportunity spotting and managing the compliance relationship with clients.

The core aspects of the role are:

• Maintain a portfolio of clients and take responsibility for ensuring the tax computations are prepared to a high standard, on a timely basis and finalised and submitted to HMRC within agreed deadlines.

You will be a Senior Manager within our Tech Transformation Practice (aligned to WAM Consulting) and will be helping both grow our business and ensure our teams deliver high quality advice to clients. You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging client engagements across the WAM value chain for clients from across the ecosystem. As a Senior Manager you will be expected to lead on the delivery of key client work items such as leading programmes or being responsible for building KPMG IP. 

It is also expected that you will lead and manage more junior members of the KPMG team as part of project delivery. You will be an example to more junior members of staff who will look to you for advice, guidance and development support.   

As a Senior Manager it is likely that you will also be required to support Directors and Partners with business development activity such as helping with proposition development, proposals, RFP responses and pipeline management.

In addition to supporting the build out of the client proposition for technology, you will also be expected to support the development of the practice in a broader sense, such as through the development and nurturing of junior talent, training, internal communications and contribution to the positive culture and supportive working environment.

We are seeking a talented manager with experience of working across a wide range of Corporate and Defence clients. They should be able to manage and deliver client engagements, with demonstrable experience of managing the design and delivery of complex change and people transformation programmes to support our clients with addressing key market challenges. Typically, these programmes would cover at least one of the following areas: Workforce Transformation (inc. AI), Organisation Design, Change Management, HR Transformation, Digital Transformation, Learning and Development.  Our work is incredibly varied, but would typically cover:

• Managing a team of consultants and collaborating closely with client teams to deliver client engagements
• Providing specialist advice and working closely with client leads and team members to successfully deliver project outcomes
• Contributing to business development and sales, working with account teams to scope opportunities and developing compelling proposals to win new clients
• Contributing to the development of methods, tools and thought leadership
